Team up to overcome the cursed Doom Bots of Doom and their evil overlord before everything you love and cherish is DOOMED!

Survive the mayhem… but beware what lies ahead.

The Doom Bots wreak their diabolical havoc with not one, but two playable modes. Battle the bots in standard mode, or test your limits with a near-infinite gauntlet of increasingly difficult levels.

You choose the difficulty setting, so there’s no telling* how long you’ll postpone your inevitable demise, but any players who defeat a Doom Bots level will earn the Little Devil Teemo Icon for all eternity.**

*Seriously, we don’t have any idea how far you’ll get.

**Any players who leave a game of Doom Bots forfeit their icon. Icon will appear in your account up to one week after defeating the Doom Bots.

We may be slowing down the RGM queue rotation cadence for the next few patches as we’re working on some new things. You’ll also see a few more repeat modes as we get closer to the end of the year, but we'll be teaching the ol’ queue some new tricks in the future.

Doom Bots will be playable from October 20 through October 24, and then will return next week from October 28 through October 31. GLHF!

Do disconnects count as leaving for this? My campus's entire network went down when I was in the middle of a doom bot's game and I'm currently posting this from my phone to ask this question. I'd hate if I'm no longer able to get the icon anymore simply because the routers shut down unforseenably.

I think should be made an exception. I just hope nobody will or is abusing this excuse. I mean, we are against bots, but I sometimes feel in my bots games it's more fun 4v5.

I will admit that the AR add on makes it so much better and personally I have never been fond of Urf because the balancing of the game is shoddy most of the time for casual play without making everyone OP. But that is just my feelings, but I and many people I know really enjoy Ascension so I would say it is by far not the worst. Oh and I called it, got 10 downvotes on the first comment and 4 on the second comment. Alright lets see how many downvotes, maybe we can get enough to get this comment below the threshold.

i get that it's "bots", but why only 20ip for losing? it literally makes this mode feel far more frustrating than fun, because you are 100% going to lose a lot more than win, plus their abilities lagging the game like crazy... I was really looking forward to this mode, key word there is was

Can we please switch that Ascension out for ar urf and actually keep this as a rotating game mode queue? Some people barely have enough time as it is to enjoy ar urf when our busy schedules don't allow more than a few games. Not to mention, i've never heard a person say they want Ascension over urf.

but this will be the second time ascension has been active in the queue, cause after the last arurf it was ascension, and now it's as if they're skipping over arurf this time around. Also arurf is "all random" so people don't really have a big choice on who they want to play, so that should help with how it was generally the same picks over and over in urf.

I'm not saying get rid of ascension entirely, i'm just saying don't skip over arurf when its supposed to be it's turn.

So wait does that mean if you beat Doom Bots ten times, then you leave a game, you lose your icon? Or that you just don't get the icon for a game that you leave?

Does anyone else lag really badly in the gauntlet mode of doom bots? I'm going at 20-45 fps in there. Meanwhile the teemoing is fine with no issues on fps.
