Like a manatee waving a spatula as he fades into the distance, Ultra Rapid Fire is saying sayonara. U.R.F. was never meant to be more than an April Fool’s gag, but the community’s response has been anything but a joke, so goodbyes need not be final.

Ultra Rapid Fire will come back in one form or another, but like all Featured Game Modes it wasn’t designed to live forever. Later this week, we’ll be sharing more of our philosophy around Featured Game Modes and a behind-the-curtain look at the development of U.R.F. itself. In the meantime, recap all of the top community plays as well as professional Ultra Rapid Fire action.

Riot... please make it permanent. Ultra Rapid Fire revived my waning interest in the game, please don't take this experience away from us players :(

URF Fridays please!!!!!

Enable URF for 24 hours every Friday. It will keep us playing the way the game was meant to be played, but also gives us a nice way to destress weekly! Please Riot!

I feel the success of U.R.F was due to the stress free environment it created, as everyone was there to REALLY have fun, not just win. There really is no loosing in U.R.F.

Unless of course you go 1v1 against a Ryze.

In Chinese version the Mode URF will still be available till 4/20...

A game mode, not the mode we deserved, but the mode we needed, nothing less than a map, shining.

URF, "U either die a mode or live long enough to see urself become a banned. I can be that because i am not a game map... i am whatever the lol community needs me to be... u will hunt me, u will condemn me, set the dogs on me. because thats what needs to happen."

Community, "Urf! URF!!! y is he running bowing out riot? he didnt do anything wrong..."

Riot, "Because we have to chase him. Because he is the hero lol community deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we will hunt him. Beacuse he can take it. He is not a game map. He is april fools gag, a fountain of fun, a broken heaven."

Guess League will be put aside for now once again. The only reason I came back was to play URF, and it's the only thing that's kept my interest. With it's leaving, I shall leave also. :-( weeps softly

I for one only have time to play short games and can't spend upwards of 50mins playing. Always nice when faster paced games are introduced. Please consider having URF make a permanent return.
