Digital RP Codes on Amazon

Riot·Sep 11, 2015·4 votes·159,362 views

Summoners!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Amazon to make digital RP codes available for online purchase. If you’re located in Canada or the US, you can now purchase digital RP codes through Amazon.com in $10, $25, $50, and $100 (USD) denominations. Keep in mind that these codes will only function on the NA server.

One important thing to note is that no LoL account is required to purchase digital RP codes on Amazon.com, so gifting is now easier than ever! RP codes purchased through Amazon will be immediately live after purchase and can either be retained for personal use or sent to a lucky fellow Summoner.

We hope this new purchase option offers another convenient payment solution for those looking to either top up their own accounts or purchase gifts for friends and family. You can check out the details and purchase codes here, and please remember to always carefully read the terms and conditions when utilizing any new payment method.

Seems to work for Amazon Smile, too. Buy some RP and support your favorite charity!

And shall it be known that this day, Riot made a boatload of more money...

Yes yes yes!

Please use Amazon Smile! You can donate to so many local things like your local animal shelters! There's no downside.

If its such an amazing idea, why not find a way to give bonus RP to any purchase made through Amazon Smile to encourage it?

hi riot um i want to help make ur game bigger by trying to get people to play with me. i want to show how fun the game is by showing off ur new champ. if u could give me her code i will do my best to help make the world lol again. what do u say riot wanna do it.

Spartan 721Sep 11, 201520 votes

We should celebrate by having a bonus RP sale.

ĘbbAndƒloweySep 12, 20153 votes

Yeah! And I'm not sure if it's possible but make it only digital purchases? Like if a RP card would be purchased through the code it gives a certain percent more. That way it encourages people to go through Amazon, or even Amazon Smile!

There should be a discount for Amazon Prime member!

Postal TwinkieSep 11, 20155 votes

I second this!

Starblaster11Sep 11, 20156 votes

Or maybe even more bonus RP because they have the base RP and the extra RP you get with the higher the cost.

Did this work for you? I can't get mine to work.

ConvexSep 13, 20152 votes

Make sure you go into prepaid cards in the purchase RP section, not in the codes section.

RhlaxSep 11, 20158 votes

cant find it on amazon.ca

Just MoníkaSep 11, 20156 votes

I just bought an rp code and it keeps saying my code is invalid no matter how i type it. (capitals, no capitals, dashes, no dashes.)

Just MoníkaSep 11, 201519 votes

Nevermind, you must go to the Purchase RP window and selected prepaid cards and riot pin. Just going to the codes tab doesn't work.

Are you still trying? :(

PocalemSep 11, 20154 votes

What about Amazon.ca? Will you be partnering with them? Is it available there as well, or just on .com?

CantStopTVSep 12, 20153 votes

Literally been begging for this - I ended up having to buy 100 RP cards....

Can I buy a $100 code and give away 1,500 RP to a list of people?

FlexxoooSep 12, 20153 votes

Please make this available on amazon.ca also! If you have a giftcard on amazon.ca there is no way to bu something on amazon.com

KelboDeltaSep 12, 20152 votes

champs prices are too high.... they are hidden in RP codes to hide that one champ can cost you up to 10 dollars! and let alone skins.... even more expensives!

JosepheousSep 12, 20153 votes

Art isn't cheap

ĘbbAndƒloweySep 12, 20153 votes

Well... $10 = 1360 RP. 1360-975=385. You still have 385 RP to spend. Sure that isn't a lot. but if you buy another one. You now have saved up enough to get a 1350 skin (Or basically a $9.99 skin) on sale or lower. I'd say the highest champ is worth about $7.50 at this equation; 2y=$5, 5/2=2.5, 10-x=2.5, 10-2.5=7.5. (tbh, I know you were trying to say that if you wanted ONE champion it'd cost you $10. But I wanted to look at the bright side here! You really ONLY spent #7.50 xD)

The $10 gift card on Amazon in any form is currently unavailable. I was hoping to use an Amazon gift card to get rp and make use of the sale going on right now, but I can't. Can someone please explain what's going on with Amazon?

With the new updated client the "Prepaid cards & codes" are the same section. I keep trying to redeem my code through that like everyone is saying but its not working still. Any other suggestions? ]
