To be honest, I disliked the idea of this skin. In my opinion, its not right giving the same basic idea to another champion and calling it an ultimate skin. Previously each ultimate skin has its own unique title and effects. **In my opinion **this is basically saying, well take Ezreal skin and slap it on another champion with some new effects. Sona is a DJ Udyr is a Spirit Guard Lux is an Elementalist Ezreal has pulsfire. These are very diverse in each way. But it seems like were literally taking the same idea and putting it on someone who had so many more creative options to take from. For a skin that costs what, $30.00, id rather not. Sorry if I forgot any other ultimate skins. (Im not trying to be rude, I apologize if it came out that way.) Unless this is just a legendary. In which case, I still do not support the idea of taking an ultimate skin and putting it on someone else, it takes away from the original.

While I agree with you that it's not the same because it's not an Ultimate, I recall a while back (probably around Spirit Guard Udyr, IIRC) they said they weren't making skin-lines based on the Ultimate skins at all because they were supposed to be so unique. While I like Pulsefire Caitlyn, their change to PFE and his reason to run from the future into the past partially changed his identity, and also broke one of the "rules" they'd laid down in the beginning for Ultimate skins

I think that their point is not that it's a ultimate skin or legendary skin but the theme behind this.

Yes, i like the plusefire cait, she looks so cool. But i don't like that either because it takes from plusefire ezreal.

In my opinion, i don't like that by the same concept "plusefire" have in various champions when they relased plusefire ez, because it was susposed to be unique and it's just as if they didn't had enough ideas for cait and use the plusefire ez as theme.

I have 3 ultimate skins (the DJ sona, Elementalist Lux and Spirit Guard Udyr) and i think that these ultimate skins should be stayed with ther "unique theme" and not be used for another champion's theme.

For example, I wouldn't like to see DJ Bard (JUST AN EXAMPLE), i don't care if it were just a legendary skin or not some cool animations, etc. Is the visual representation between DJ sona and DJ bard. It's just a joke/insult for the wonderful DJ sona skin wich her theme were taken to make DJ bard, making lose the "unique" theme that was made specifically for sona. (specially when i spent money on it, DJ bard is like the cheap version of DJ sona and it's sad)

This is just an example but it has the same feeling that with plusefire ezreal and plusefire caitlyn (In the visual representation and the RP difference that they have)

I'm so sorry if i offended anyone with that, it's just my opinion.

PD: It's ok when a RARE/LEGENDARY SKIN theme has various champions involved; like star guardian, dark star, pool party, arcade, etc. But it's not OK to use an ULTIMATE SKIN that is being used for more champions when they were made to be UNIQUE for a specific champion.

While Riot did take the skin and give it to another champion, the idea behind the theme is different. Ezreal is a time-travelling fugitive, and Caitlyn is a time traveling officer. I mean, instead of thinking about the negative of Riot giving the unique idea to someone else. Think of the positive, Riot increased the Pulsefire line of uniqueness. Pulsefire is the only line with two people, with a large backstory, and possible lore. DJ has Sona, Spirit Guard Udyr, and Lux is the Elementalist. Neither of those skin lines has something more. Ezreal has an enemy, and so does Caitlyn. So, really, they made the Pulsefire line better by giving it this unique background.

Assuming that you're crying because you don't have enough RP to purchase Pulsefire now, if you haven't used the Skin yet, ask Riot Support to refund it so you can buy Pulsefire Caitlyn. I repeat, DO NOT USE THE HEADHUNTER CAITLYN SKIN.

If you have used the Skin but still want Pulsefire Caitlyn, you have two options. Buy more RP, or use a Refund Token on Headhunter Caitlyn.

In the future, read Patch Notes and Surrender@20 to make sure you don't make these mistakes again.

I mean, MF has three pirate skins, but they all do different things so no one questions it. It's okay to have multiple skins on the same champ based in the same "era." "Futuristic sci-fi" does not have one appearance. League already has several versions of these worlds, with Pulsefire, PROJECT:, the super hero galaxy thing, the pacific rim skins, one-offs like Neon Strike, Program, Crimson Elite, and I think a few others. Saying that having another future skin would be pointless because of Neon Strike is an insult to the diversity of sci-fi.
