The Rundown returns! Welcome to another episode of the Patch Rundown, a series where expert analysts and developers give you an inside take on the biggest changes heading into the game each and every patch.

This week, designers Wesley ‘SmashGizmo’ Ruttle, James ‘Statikk’ Bach and caster/analyst Aidan ‘Zirene’ Moon stop by to discuss the follow-up changes to Midseason coming into Patch 6.10!

New champion looks great, I like the mage update. However, there's still micro things wrong with the game that aren't being focused on. Adcs are still in a horrible place after their update, on top that tanks still deal the most damage while, well BEING A TANK. Master yi's with tank items after being fed is just un-winnable. Like, can we get a better path for league? THIS is just my opinion. I just disagree with everything that has come in this current season. Not to mention that tribunal is getting WAY, WAYYYY too touchy. I'm afraid to even say anything in my games anymore. It seems that you can get muted for even saying: "you did terrible." How do i know? because my main got banned for it and i have the whole dialogue. 0 toxicity, NOT EVERYONE IS TYLER 1. GIVE IT A REST.

Honestly Patch Rundown was my favorite and one of the more informative videos Riot did in regards to "the game" and how the new patch in the game was going to affect us as players. I missed it so much.

Patch Rundown w/ Scarizard > /ALLCHAT

I also enjoy Zirene or even Gustavs attendance in these rundowns. The logic and tips I gleaned from the information provided was helpful.

Podcast is not cool, I feel Patch Rundown is too important to just be some simple Podcast. However, to save time on editing...why not run this as a Streamcast with video. This is an easier interview format than the video quality of previous patch rundowns but also a good medium with visual queues. A lot of popular streamers use this format with 4,3,2, or 1 extra box depending on attendees/interviewees. It would also allow for stats or other visuals, highlights, champion plays, build paths, items or whatever to be thrown up in different windows to reiterate points during the debate.

So, Zirene is great and all, but that picture makes him look like a creepy old man who just shaved off his scraggly beard and is like "so tell me about that final fintesy sevens, kids. heh heh heh"

In terms of, "Patch Rundowns," episodes for League of Legends, please continue with more podcasts. Great in-depth analysis all around from the panel. For future episodes, it would be splendid to have professional players on as guests. Obtaining some of their thoughts, and opinions, would be highly demanded ( or at least from my own perspective). I enjoyed listening to this episode while lying down in bed, after I've completed my own analysis of the patch notes. I get why others want video series; however, I disagree with the general consent. Already, I have an abundant amount of League of Legends video content through its ESports. "Patch Rundowns," in my opinion, are more enjoyable to listen on podcasts, rather than, in comparison, watching it on video. I listen to sports podcasts all the time at the gym, driving to work, before I sleep, etc. I'll be adding this to my list as well. Thank you.

I like this format a lot, you guys should keep this up. It is really helpful that you do this for every change, please do this more often, if not every patch!

Please buff Janna again, the one thing I thought you'd never touch was her shield and you had to nerf that too, I'm so fucking mad at everything you've done to her. Honestly I liked the videos better for many reasons, including the fact that they were shorter. I don't want to listen to an hour long discussion on a patch, we all have the patch notes... I urge you reconsider naming these "Needlessly Long Patch Dissection."

I liked the video version better. It was a short quick way for me to understand changes and why they happened/reasoning. While a league podcast is a good idea, for the patch run down I think that it is just too long.

Same here agreeing that the vids must return. Most informational and useful part of the client login videos. I learn what i should use caution in buying based on changes and what i cant buy anymore from scarizord. I follow this series and now i guess ill drink a portion of bleach and watch Allchat instead.
