IM LAGGING SO BAD BEFORE I HAVE ONLY 30 PING THEN WHEN RIOT MOVE TO CHICAGO MY PING BECOME HIGH (100+). PLS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS

here in san fran I get 200 ping!!!! rito pls this is impossible to play with

I am FURIOUS over this move as it is completely illogical; Riot points out how the player base is huge- then why not open a "central" server in Chicago and keep the west coast server. I am furious because I went from playing a comfortable 40-60 ping with occasional spikes into 100 ping. I am now 88ms Ping average, mostly when the game is pretty idle but I get spikes now into 250-300ms which equates to VERY frustrating delayed response time; having a 2-3 second delay (the fact it is inconsistent and unpredictable makes it even more frustrating.) The main reason I am still playing is because I keep hoping it will get better and the hundreds of dollars I have spent on a game I used to be able to enjoy but now just has me yelling profanity at outcomes I had hindered control over. If anyone has a suggestions for stabilizing ping please let me know. Honestly I think the new server messed up the matchmaking algorithm pairing players less localized or is unstable for a slew of reasons. I expect Riot with resolve this sooner than later. [trying to be optimistic]

Riot should open 2-3 servers across NA; because I rather lose a match against a pro in CA in a fair fight than to lose to a new player in VA due to server inconsistencies.

Thanks for F**king up the pings on the west coast riot. If the move was to get everyone under 80 you failed miserably.

THe more funny thing is that we got no update on that problem... Just to tell i went up to 8000 ping or isp if its the same thing. Being force dc in a teamfight kinda really sucky. Like u guys said, their is no fun to play that game anymore if it's not fix and riot seem not to have spoken of it. Execpt if I don't see it.

I just wanted to say rito, congratulations on ruining this game. I cannot even begin to describe my disappointment with your decision to move servers instead of creating a 2nd server to better suit your customers needs. When we had west coast server, ping was 31. Now, its 61-64 and I experience large amounts of server lag. AND, I am not the only one. Further, you all claimed we would get "increased server stability in the form of packet-loss reduction. This is a lie. Ive never once experienced server lag ever pre-move and I am on fiber optic comcast net. Instead of this "stability" you promised to quell these angry posts, I have seen nothing. No improvement what so ever and in fact, the quality of the game is now so low, most of my friends sit idle with the client open just to chat. You have destroyed this game for every single one of your customers west of Idaho and Arizona not to mention the players you have COMPLETELY forsaken in Alaska and Hawaii. This is a shameful disgrace all so you guys can make an extra buck at the expense of "the minority." I understand moving servers takes time and there will be MANY technical problems for months to come but seriously, Did you really HAVE to move servers instead of creating another? The answer is no. You guys make plenty of money on us and I cant help but feel you shafted a good portion of your players. I for one do not hold tightly to any hope of this game recovering without a new server. RIP LoL for west coast. Hope you enjoy another lost customer. Sincerely, previous daily LoL player.

16 ping before 500-1000 ping after. I can't even play the only thing that makes life enjoyable anymore. All those hours, all the fun, all that money, and it ends like this.

My Ping is Terrible !! PLEASE Fix this problem. My ping used to be a steady 60-65 now it spikes from 100-150ping during normal games. Im not sure if you guys knew the move would affect people instead of helping people...I cant play a game with out disconnecting 4 or 5 times. It really takes away the fun from the game. Also with the constant lagging. I do wish you guys help this problem. While it benefits others...its hurting others.

Ahhhh so rather than spend the time and money making a second server that would make things better for the majority of players, Riot decides to say "screw you" to another vast majority of its players. Yeah, you're getting no money out of me from this point on Riot.

I don't think it's my ping that's the problem, because it'll still be low while I'm lagging. Packet loss? I'm in Florida. What to do? o.o

Riot, please make a NA West server so I can stop lagging! I used to rock a 30-90 ping which was excellent, and now I'm stuck in the 2000+. I am being REPORTED constantly for things that are out of my control because I keep getting matched with East players whose pings are wonderful and don't understand that I'm in the west. This was as of 9/5/15 and it's getting worse. I live in Missoula Montana and am working from a UNIVERSITY WIFI which has ALWAYS been excellent before and has even been IMPROVED since last year. I used to give you guys great publicity in my Extra Life livestreams raising money for charity and getting people into the game. I will remove my support of this company if things are not fixed promptly, and I absolutely REFUSE to spend money on a company that can't fix their problems.
