The Haunted Hoard Harrowing sale

Hiding amongst the specters haunting the Black Mist are surprises both new and newly returned from Harrowing past. From October 24 to November 4, a host of deals and offers will be up for reaping:

In an unprecedented phantasmic phenomenon, a group of skins’ regular prices are reduced for six hours before resetting in favor of a new slate of skins. Early research into ectoplasmic evidence has yet to uncover a way to predict which skins will go on sale--or even the discount rate. All we know for sure is that skins go on sale for six hours at a time and then it happens all over again. Happily, you can check the “On Sale” box in the skins tab of the Store to see what skins are on tap.

To everyone crying about rare skins, boo friggedy hoo. One, Riot is going to compensate you. I had the original haunting Nocturne, and when he got re-released, I got a nifty little decoration on the loading screen for that skin. It's a way for Riot to give people old content while still acknowledging the legacy players. Two, some people didn't have the opportunity to buy the skin when they came out. Some of us were/are in the military and we're on deployment when these events happen. Should we be punished because we're serving? Maybe someone had a family emergency and didn't have a nickel to spare when the event started so they couldn't get the skin when it came out. Should they be punished for being responsible and understanding the value of a dollar when a crisis arose? If you're really against players having another chance at getting content when Riot is still going to give you something to acknowledge you had it vintage, you're just downright selfish.

Indeed... I've given Riot wayyyyyy too much money... but they keep suckering me. Well it doesn't help when you're single, making $3,000 every two weeks and have nothing else to spend your money on. summoner 3

Looking at the video....anyone else want that puppeteer to be a champ?! Having a puppet-master as a champ would definitely spice things up, and I definitely feel he would have a very unique style of play.

For anyone wondering, the skins just refreshed, meaning the 6 hour resets for Eastern time are at 3am/pm and 9am/pm

This is great, would have been nice to have a new Harrowing skin for 2014 though, I imagine they get tired of wearing the same costumes year after year ;)
