When most champs were released it took players a while to figure out if they needed to be nerfed. For Ekko it only took them seconds...

I have played and faced many Ekko players, I don't find him grossly overpowered. He has enough defects where you can easily outplay him, and destroy him, and if you manage to anticipate what he is going to do, he will automatically lose. Some people complain about his damage, but being honest, it isn't that crazy, he is strong, but any cc will shut him down, so will any silence.

PLS READ EVRYTHING !!!!!!!!

You all still donot understand that ekko has no sustain at all so can also easily get killed really fast by another assassin. that is why he really needs that high move speed from his passive to escape. secondly his ult is unstoppable but can be dodged unless u are stupid enough to stay on his time-shadow. plus, it is hard for ekko to adjust his time-shadow in order to use his ult as damage against you. thirdly, the only way e can cast his ult easily is if ekko stays in fight at constant spot for at least 4 secs so his time-shadow catches to the fight so he can ult but this is very difficult tho since he has no sustain, it makes it hard for him to stay in a fight at constant position for 4 secs thats why he has good harass and mobolity passive in order to escape more easily. further more, ekko's ult can be avoided evn if u are on his time-shadow if u have some sort of dash( thats when u need a quick reaction to the play/refelxe) or if u can stun him before he ults. given tat he ults usually when he is low, u can easily predict when he will( probably at 20% hp). and to finallize kat is just like ekko but might even be more advantageous because; kat's Q is not a skill shot but a targeted attack which u cant dodge while u can dodge ekko's Q. second, kat's E (if u have high reflex,) can easily be used to dodge ekko's ult. and third ka ult's ult is just ass ekko since if affects just a zone and not targeted, u can smite out of zone using your reflexes to quickly dodge. same goes for leblanc, no sustain, but high mobile and abilities equally serve to dodge skill shots just as ekko;s mobility and ability potentials. To finalize, Ekko's is just as balanced as any other champions in LOL and does not deserve any nerf beacuase his high poke capacity and damage is high enough to make you forget about his low sustain.( if u had ever wonder, ekko;s mobile passive is the same as gnar's W-passive, so ter shuld be no worries ekko is stable and can counter any probably most champs if you got the right mechanics) BTW- i tried nindalee vs ekko and from my results he got wrecked. nindalee can dodge most of ekko's abilities and play safe by equally poking from a safe position usuing her Q. she can also use the animal form to jump to ekko and come back safely equalizing damage trades.

First 15 minutes are about different Ekko combos. Faker "interview" starts at around 15:30, for those who want to skip ahead. Combos are summarized at around14:30, for those who don't want to watch the first 14 minutes. :)

The people wanting an Ekko nerf are the same people who don't know how to play around him iv'e played against many Ekko's and have been fine. Stop feeding him. For the people saying that "Ekko is supposed to be a utility based champ and not supposed to do that much damage" I know they said that but as Ekko you can't mindlessly go in and time your shots with your Q if you charge your probably gonna die you are not Jax use your passive to engage a fight or if your against him wait till after he launches his Q he's much more vulnerable. He pokes then goes in not charges recklessly.

words from a noob gold player -- I think Ekko is more or less balanced, except for his passive which needs a nerf. He has a very high 100-0 potential, but at the same time it requires the player to hit his Q and sometimes even a W. Q is a low damage out, high damage back skill, and opponents can sidestep it to dodge pretty easily. If the player decides to initiate even he misses Q, there would be a high chance getting out traded. W can give zoning power, but in fights you'll have to predict a 3 second further and induce (sorry i'm not English main) opponents into the desired position. Only the better players could do that. In general he's quite a good balanced champ except maybe riot need to reduce a bit ap ratio and slow on passive. With 3 stacks he can just chase down nearly everyone. (also he's quite item dependent, shutting down him early means that he could pretty do nothing if opponent knows how to secure advantage, trust me, this is gonna get down voted heavily)

I only have one complain about Ekko His ult shouldnt heal him, that's just dumb, even in the teaser video you can tell he's still hurt after rewinding time and shit, why u change his power rito item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

Th3Mudkip6/4/2015, 11:46:21 AM4 votes

People keep saying Ekko is squishy.... His ult gives him most of his health back if not all (Never looked into it just an observation) while doing ridiculous damage if he hits you with it. Without absolutly stupid amounts of burst you wont take him down if he has his ult.
