Start the new year with your Lunar Revel cosplay

The Lunar Revel moon perches on the horizon, silver and full. Fireworks whistle upward and blossom into sparks with a deafening KABOOM. Strings of paper lanterns cast a soft orange glow on the grins of onlookers staring up at the spectacle. Others glance nervously at their watches, not wanting to miss the exact moment when the New Year ticks over.

TEN! … NINE! … EIGHT! ...

There’s a special buzz of anticipation surrounding the New Year, and our upcoming Lunar Revel event carries its own reasons to be excited. To help us celebrate, we want to see your Lunar Revel cosplay photos!

Submission Rules:

1. We are accepting cosplays of any Lunar Revel skins, including but not limited to: Dragon Fist Lee Sin, Guqin Sona, Dragonblade Talon, Jade Dragon Wukong, Panda Annie, Jade Fang Cassiopeia, Dragon Wing Corki, Warring Kingdoms Jarvan IV, Warring Kingdoms Xin Zhao, Lunar Goddess Diana, Dragonblade Riven, and Warring Kingdoms Tryndamere.
2. Though not tied explicitly to Lunar Revel, the Blood Moon skins share a similar aesthetic, so feel free to craft a costume inspired by Blood Moon Thresh, Blood Moon Kalista, Blood Moon Elise, Blood Moon Akali or Blood Moon Shen.
3. Your costume does not have to be newly made for this competition, however you must have made the majority of your costume yourself or with help from friends/family. Costumes purchased from online cosplay shops are not accepted.
4. You must submit a photograph of a person wearing your full costume (it doesn’t have to be yourself if you’re feeling shy). We are not accepting photos of costumes on mannequins, photos of Lunar Revel themed make-up, or fan art.
5. Entries will be judged on the following criteria: costume accuracy, costume construction, and effort put into capturing the essence of the character in the photo. PhotoShop editing is allowed for minor retouching and special effects, however please avoid creating purely digital costumes or fabricating entire backgrounds.
6. You can submit up to three photos of you wearing your costume. We're only taking submissions formatted in .jpg or .png; the maximum file size is 5MB and minimum dimensions are 600 x 600px (but the larger, the better!) Any of these three photos may appear on leagueoflegends.com or on associated Riot Games twitter accounts.
7. You must submit an additional (fourth) photograph to prove the costume belongs to you. A photo of your summoner name written on a piece of paper next to parts of your costume on a desk will suffice. This photo will not be published and is only used to verify entries.
8. Finally, your submission must abide by our TOU, so keep in mind your photo can’t include any logos, advertisements, product names or product placements. Also make sure your picture is appropriate for players of all ages: League is rated Teen, so nothing too sexy or grotesque!
