Cloaked and cowled in torn garments, a figure steps onto the ravaged battlefield. A curved horn juts out from beneath her hood, its shape mimicking the battered scythe gripped in her hand. I think they cancelled the original show (right after Terra "came back") and started a spin off that ruined the series.

I really don't think they ruined the series with this new show. I personally don't care to watch it, but then again they were going for a more animated superhero sitcom-based show that's intended for kids - not the old-timers like us that remember the original Teen Titans show.

I will admit those WERE good times, though.

Well the old series isn't "ruined"; it's untouched. But the new show introduces the same characters with a completely different tone in a completely different format. The show was cancelled under strange pretenses (it was doing great) and then was gone for many years. When they finally bring it back, it's as some silly kiddy comedy without anything that made the original great.

For those of us who liked the original, that move is kind of like a stab in the back. That's what we mean when we say they ruined it; they took a good, interesting, complex show and basically remade it as a dumb comedy.

Cause the Harrowing page says otherwise? http://promo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/harrowing-2014/ They have Leblanc and Wukong as skins in the harrowing page and NOT this. She's part of the Shadow Isles stuff they got going on now, since Kalista is up next.

I can get over the fact it's not part of the harrowing package (simply because that opens up the possibility for mad doctor soraka to become a reality.) but to make it a legacy skin...why?

Cause they probably have plenty of skins that will be available year round so they don't need this to be? Legacy doesn't mean it's gone forever anyway, so it's not like "OH NO I DIDN'T GET IT NOW I CAn'T EVER HAVE IT!!!!"

Legacy skins have a reason to be a labeled Legacy. They are either seasonal (which you pointed out Reaper Soraka is not a part of.) or a special event (what special event is this?) or a skin that Riot as retired. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Champion_skin

This argument you pulling up doesn't make a lick of sense because Lee Sin have 5 skins available at all times. Plenty of other champions like Akali and Ezreal have 4 avaliable as well. I'm point this out because labeling it a Legacy doesn't make sense for there is nothing warranting it.

But they don't really. Anything can be labeled legacy for whatever reason Riot feels like. The Traditional skins from Karma, Trundle and Sejuani are Legacy and they had no event or holiday.. They were just part of the relaunch of the champions, but there wasn't an event from them... so what made them legacy? See, Riot can do what they want with the skins and Reaper Soraka wasn't part of the Harrowing event.

I would assume Champion relaunches are a pretty big event. I mean, would you consider the Sion relaunch not an event? Riot thought it was a pretty big deal. Also those traditional skins were made Legacy in honor to the playerbase and those who previously owned them. Ask anyone who owns one of the traditional skins if said skin should be available to the public with ease of access. I guarantee the answer will be "no" and that's the polite way to say it. Those traditional skins hold a special meaning to the players and Riot saw and respected that.

Whenever a skin is made into a Legacy, there is a reason for it. But instead of arguing back and forth about it, lets play a game.

Here is a list of all the Legacy skins. All of them are in a category. If Reaper Soraka is not part of the Harrowing event, which category would you put that skin in?

I don't see really see them as one... considering there's nothing like rewards (icons, ect), a game mode, a huge event story revolving around it to bring the community into it. There was a reward icon such shortly after Sejuani's but that was for the Freljord event, so it's not really related to the relaunch.

I own two of them and I don't see why they shouldn't be. We got them for free owning the champion previously, they could still be in the store to buy for everyone else. They have another traditional skin (Lee sin) who is always in the store and wasn't removed after his update, so why not him?

They could make a new category if they chose to, but I still don't see the skin as part of the Harrowing event as it was released afterwards and wasn't promoted as part of it.

Your first paragraph: You see it one way, a lot of people see it another.

Your third paragraph: I honestly don't see it as a Harrowing skin either because it wasn't in the Harrowing event. So Riot either needs to take it off of the Legacy bracket or explain why Reaper Soraka is considered a Harrowing skin even if she didn't participate in the event.

Well, maybe they planned it to be part of it but it didn't make it in time and thus even still wanted it to be a Legacy either way?

Also it's very ANTI-Soraka in general as it's out of character for her, so I see that as a very special skin.

There are tons of skins that do the same thing. It's NOT special, by any definition.

This is because IMO that Riot missed the deadline on having Reaper Soraka ready for the Harrowing. It has been on the PBE for some time now, but somehow it missed the event. What doesn't make any sense, is why make this new skin a legacy skin like as if it WAS a part of the Harrowing (or some other event?), but not acknowledge that they missed the date to actually have it released for said (or un-named?) event? (A little summoner 13 *, please?) Either Rito should make this skin available longer before going into the vault, or make it on sale the entire time it's available. I play Soraka alot, and not so much Leblanc/Wukong. I would have LOVED to have had a new Harrowing skin that I actually would have used DURING the event... But oh well, better late than never, I suppose.

The real scare here is how bad this skin looks..

Why not something that makes a little more sense like putting a riot raka skin out where she looks like riot squads medic. Reaper raka.. like.. why?
