January sales schedule

Riot·Dec 19, 2017·2 votes·89,113 views

Check out all the champs and skins on sale this January! Like previous sales schedules, we’re not posting the exact dates for each champ and skin, but they’ll all be on sale sometime next month.

Just a heads up—since we’re publishing these in advance, we won’t offer partial refunds on champs and skins purchased before they go on sale.

Snowday Bard please please.

Flame StormsDec 19, 20171 votes

Do you guys normally re-release holiday skins when that holiday rolls around again? Been dying for Sweetheart Sona, but wondering if I should bother saving my RP for her on Valentine's Day, or just buy stuff from my shop.

coeurloyalDec 20, 20172 votes

They used to bring back prior years' skins for the events, but it seems like they've only been releasing new skins this year. They didn't bring back any Snowdown skins from prior years for this winter, which is disappointing because the event sales are generally when I grab the skins I want. I don't think I'd bet on seeing it in a feature for Singles Awareness Day.

That said, it's due for a sale anytime now, so I think you can reasonably expect to see it in February or March (Preditction Schedule for reference).

Poetguy78Dec 20, 20177 votes

They have brought back previous Snowdown skins this year.

micy123456789Jan 2, 20181 votes

They didn't bring back the legacy ones.

The BirchJan 6, 20181 votes

Yes, they did. They never bring back skins that aren't legacy because that doesn't make sense lmao.

Dark Candy Fiddle, Santa Braum, Winter Wonder Lulu, Winter Wonder Karma, Snowmerdinger. Check the shop because they've been for sale for a couple weeks now.

I meant the legacy skins like Nottingham Ezreal and Red Card Katarina. Normally every Christmas they bring back some legacy skins during the event ( that you can purchase in the shop ), however this year they only brought back the Snowdown ones.

That's super helpful! Thanks! I'll probably just cross my fingers and hope she goes on sale soon.

We could say the same for Star Guardian season 2, I'd say they might be next and then Project Hunters

NormalizedDec 21, 20171 votes

So, in my experience the "not always for sale" skins don't really go on sale when they come back for limited time (for instance, look at the current holiday skins). For the early sales on Death Squad skins, is it expected this will be the only time they are available for a discount (besides possible bundles and/or My Shop)?

NargaJdJan 5, 20181 votes

Skins get put into the monthly sale schedule a year after release. So a year after the Omega Squad skins were released, they could be one of the monthly skin sales.

So do to the changes for runes, are there going to be any more 2 for the price of 1 rune pages?

UD Blue HenDec 20, 2017

No Omega squad Teemo.. so close... :(

coeurloyalDec 20, 20175 votes

Legendary skins don't go on sale.

lightdragoon88Dec 20, 20177 votes

They go on early sale though...just once.

UD Blue HenDec 21, 20171 votes

So the Legendary Riven skin and Legendary Yasuo skin that was on sale for the December early sale must have been a mistake right? Wow, you're a bright one... I know they don't normally go on sale but during the early sale it's possible considering the rest omega squad was discounted.

NormalizedDec 21, 20178 votes

Early sales are, by definition, a one time sale a few months after their release. The rest of Omega Squad came out a few months ago. Teemo came out a few years ago. Not sure what you were expecting?

coeurloyalDec 22, 20175 votes

Just looking for a reason to be a dick, I guess. There's no reason to consider OS Teemo for the early sale; I didn't see any reason to lump it in with the rest of them, either. But then again, I guess I'm not a bright one according to this guy.

PewPewAGHJan 16, 20181 votes

Yeah, he's right, you aren't a bright one.. You're stating they DON'T go on sale.. They do. Lol. Not regularly, but they do.

coeurloyalJan 16, 20181 votes

As I've already explained above, I didn't think it necessary to address early sales given that we're on the page for the regular sales rotation --especially when referring to a skin that released two years ago. Forgive me for assuming people can apply logic/common sense to a contextual situation.

Thanks for the necro.
