Level Beyond 30

Personally, I dislike the new Blue Essence system. It requires you to level up in order to get BE, and you miss out on 30 levels worth of BE if you are already level 30. Unless you are brand new to the game, this system does not work out in your favor well. It is substantially harder to do things like gain Mastery levels 6 and 7 for champions, and buy champions. What set LoL apart from other free games was that it wasn't a 'pay to win' game, skins are just extras. Now, LoL's currency system works just like any other mobile game. Level up, get rewards quickly at the start. Reach a certain point, leveling becomes slower and you gain less and less rewards over time. At that point you either grind, grind, grind for hours on end, stop playing the game because of its lack of consistent rewards, or buy what you need with real money. The even sadder thing is that it's a gamble every time you level up, you can either get champions you don't own, expensive champion shards, or cheap champion shards that won't give you much BE. I loved the feeling of wanting a new champion, then playing games and watching my IP grow more and more until I had enough for that champion. And it took a while too, but it was a worthwhile grind. Now you're just grinding for an unknown amount of BE. Was Riot's IP system really holding back on their profits? Is 1,628 million (and counting) dollars worth of transactions not good enough for them? Riot is constantly releasing new skins, and there will always be people there who want those skins. I have heard that many people might leave the game because of its 'pay to win' feel it has now. I am sick of playing game after game and looking at my BE just stay where it's at. If Riot made it so you would get an amount of blue essence after a game (maybe, half as much earnings you got from IP, or even a quarter), then people would know that they're earning something from every game they play, which is what keeps them playing. I kept playing because I wanted that new champion. Now you can't do anything but hope that you get good champion shards on your next level up (which is very time-consuming). Hopefully this will be fixed, maybe after the BE store shuts down, this change has made me pretty angry, along with many others.

I wish we can turn a bunch of Hextech Key to Hextech Chest. I got 23 Hextech Keys and a bunch of keys but no Hextech Chest.

So... You're telling me that veteran players who've played thousands upon thousands of games get NO levels added at all? o-o What kind of... Perhaps it sounds petty, but I feel like my large amount of time in the game should reflect my level, instead of showing the same as some player who just hit 30. wasn't an issue when cap was 30, but becomes one now.

My issue is the "Essence store" is crap.. like half the stuff on there is just Decore..Can not use it for skins beside Chroma.. like really thats what we get ? Like for us Vets that we spent money on pages or even just other things I feel like it is a joke... They made the "Essence Shop" too be some big hype with all the essence you get and I could care less for any of it.. Okay.. Icons..Okay wards......

we've been bamboozled, the rate of blue essence gain is lower than what IP used to be. you will not be buying 6300 champs ever again.

Great, I already avoid opening Honor Capsules because they contain permanent champions that instantly unlock and add to your roster, now we get leveling capsules that do the same thing gg. No more ingame currency to be earned for me, as I don't want flippin champions forced onto my account that I do not even want to play.

I feel like Riot is making it seem like it's a good thing that influence points are gone. I am level 30, so leveling up is not easy task. Every time I do level up, I had better get quite a lot of blue essence to make it worth my while...

HOW THE HELL DO I GET NEW CHAMPS NOW?!?! since you aren't receiving blue essence at the end of game and you can't re-roll champ shards it is ridiculously hard to get new champions please fix rito

riot i love how you take away all the ip i would make playing lol only to get B.E when i level up. will it = the ip i would have gotten playing the same amount of games? i love how u say all chromas are on sale but their not all on sale. i love how the champ shard that used to cost 1700 ip now cost 3950 B.E. i also love how to level a champ to level 6 mastery used to cost 500 B.E now cost 3250 B.E and to make them level 7 went from 600 to 3900. you dont think 150,000 B.E isn't alot for a skin? 50,000 for an emote plz. it turns out riot only wanted to make it so we the players now will have to buy rp to get anything worth while

Except the Hextech crafting shards are 3950 when they were 1700 before the patch. Why was that cost increased? And why was it not mentioned?

Riot, the blue essence store just opened, and I was so excited...until I saw that not every chroma was available for purchase with BE. Most disappointingly, all the ones that I actually wanted (like pool part Lulu), aren't available. I worked so hard to get as much BE as possible before the season ended (got 178,436!) just so I could run around buying everything. This makes me so sad. 8(

Will additional items be added on as we go? Or later on? Cause so far, the store's a big let down.

Now that there is an infinity level cap, will that change match making? Will a level 28 get put into a game with other level 28's and the level 124 will be put with other level 124's? [zombie-brand-clap]

I am almost level 40, currently level 39, and the nine level ups have produced about 6000 BE. I have not received a champion worth 6300. i got three 4800 two of which I already own and one 3150,the rest are lesser value. Getting multiple of the same champ or in some cases only receiving one champ shard in a level up capsule is RIDICULOUS!

15-25 games to level up to get the chest to get BE. Well what if I'm at 6299 and needed a quick gain but am nowhere near leveling up?

If they almost always have a Champion Shard, what's the benefit when I have all the champions?

This update makes playing games feel unrewarding because I got so addicted to watching that ip slowly grow and now after 11 game i got what 700 BE for my shards and it just felt terrible, unrewarding and slow.

They need to look at how Dragon Ball Dokkan came out with the level missions. If you were level 200 you got all the rewards for hitting level 1, 5, 10, 15 etc when the update came out. That was you aren't being punish for already being a high level when the update hit. Please fix this because I know getting to level 20 would have got me some nice rewards. Thanks.

I like the patch and all, but the leveling up for BE...I don't really like it. What if I really want a champ, but I don't have enough BE, and I'm not even close to leveling up? does that mean I gotta grind even harder to level up and get BE? We need a better income system :/

I'm really not liking the new blue essense changes at all

I don't like the idea of only getting essence and chest by leveling up at all!This will take significantly longer to get essence and chests as you level up and that only seems like its giving league itself an advantage by making it more difficult for already high leveled champions to get essence and in turn champions. level up rewards are a joke...you get BE way slower than IP. love the new rune/mastery stuff tho

We dont get nearly enough BE when compared to the rate of IP gained from previous seasons
