But isn't the argument against p e d o p h i l i a that there isn't a real consent there because the child isn't developed enough mentally to make that choice? I agree there's a line that needs to be drawn (baby with the mind of an adult comes to mind) but some people here do kind of have a point. Zoe does technically have more life experience than most characters in league. Assuming her brain didn't stop developing due to whatever force keeps her appearance younger you could say she's the one preying on those younger than her and not vice versa. In fact, at what age/intelligence level does it become predatory for you to mate with someone of regular mating age? Should someone who is theoretically thousands of years old just need to stay single forever if there are no same-species beings that are of the same age? I'm interested to see what other people think.
