Hey, supports! A quick question for you!
How much pushing should you be doing during the laning phase?
How much pushing should you be doing during the laning phase?
It depends on how aggressive of a support you're playing (Leona or Nautilous for instance), but it really does come down to much your ADC wants to push.
Realistically, it's a shot calling scenario. If your going to push, have a reason, and make sure your reason is clearly stated. Sometimes, pushing in the beginning means getting the level advantage over your opponents, though it runs the risk of messing up your ADC's farm. (more or less so depending on your champions attacks.)
Most often, ADC's will complain if you don't do things their way, but I often find the ADCs to be in a poor position to shotcall. They need to stay hyper focused on their DPS, and getting fed, and doing that as a glass cannon tends to get intense. While the support has more freedom to take inventory. Take a higher level view of the game, and make decisions that help the team as a whole.
Depends on what you’re trying to do and how rest of the game is going. Push for drake? To help mid? To back? All relevant to how the game is going.
the above two responses are partially right but what the guy is asking is basic pushing paradigm for every game.
game start- rush level 2, aa the minions that your adc isn't to get them down to kill range so level 2 can be gotten asap.
when the wave gets down to the bottom bush and your ADC isn't there to clear it, start pushing it back. you don't want the wave getting to the tower, its bad for the tower obviously and bad for farm.
You should already know that answer, but just read the body language of your adc and enemies. :)
