Why don't they just nerf yas' late game?

He's basically the vayne of mid lane. For a champ that will have a strong impact no matter the laning phase, he shouldnt have such an easy time early. We've all had times where we die to yas lvl 1 because his q cd his extremely low even without attack spd and then the whole "double crit" doesnt help much either. you dont give a champ low cd when his spells cost him nothing. AND THAT DAMN PASSIVE SHIELD? WHY does he need that?

Hello,

They actually nerfed Yasuo's early game quite hard since his released. I will remind you that his E - Sweeping Blade used to stack up to 4 times to deal I believe it was 200% damage or something of that percentage. It was definitely a lot more damage than it is now. That was a big nerf on his early game, there have been other nerfs such as his passive shield strength that went down. Other changes that are included are his Q and W nerf. His early game has been changed and weakened a lot. He is not as strong prior to mid-game anymore. Of course, he does have strong powerspikes in his kit. These powerspikes includes level 1 and 2. Starting E or Q level 1 allows for quick trading and short cooldowns, and of course have both of those at level 2 allows for quicker combos and lots of early damage (and getting 1 or 2 critical strikes inbetween those trades). After those two levels, he become very weak until he gets to mid-game. His skills's base damage is weak, and needs a couple items to become strong and that will allow him to trade effectively. His mid to late game is supposed to be strong, because he is a late game carry. He scales very well with his damage, however, he has been nerfed not only in the early game but the late game as well. The shield strength nerfs affected his late game, his movement speed nerf as well, critical strike damage, and his health scaling. His phases in the game have been nerfed very hard since his release, Yasuo right now is in a decent position where mastering him gives you good results and playing him as a new Yasuo player is hard, but managable with slightly less success. His early is below average, mid-game is better than some champions, and his late game is very good if you know how to correctly play with him. I believe that he stands in a good position. Anyone who thinks that he is way to strong right now doesn't play Yasuo or doesn't understand how to correctly play against him.

Thanks, ~Spheres

because yas loses alot of fights as well, he gets out dueled easily, has a predictible skill shot and his shield times out Dueling him as zed; Yasuo goes to farm, Zed uses W-E Yasuo loses shield proceeds to windwall Zed waits shield and windwall zed q's yasuo does it again because yasuo has a long cd on windwall zed will outpoke and then because yasuo is squishy proceed to all in and kill yes yasuo has pseudo mobility however use skillshots when his W is on CD and there is no wave and he can't dodge as well. This sounds more like a qq thread than a tips and tricks post

Yeah, the Yasuo is kind of ridiculous, but, believe it or not, I have found that the bruiser-archetype actually manages to shit all over him. Instead of picking a squishy or a mage against him, grab someone like Garen or Irelia, perhaps even Jarvan, Jax, etc. I know it's a bit cheesey in regards to the source of where I learned this from, but recently, I decided to go 1v5 against a team of Intermediate-Level bots in a Custom-Match, and learned of it that way.

A team of bruisers with a stun-locking support made my attempt at trying to Yasuo irrelevant, because Léona would just keep me stun-locked, and even though I just clicked on the Add button for a bunch of random bots to play against, they had a composition of Garen with Jarvan with Léona with Jax and an ADC, and if there was more than one of them, I only had to be stunned once to end up getting bursted down rather quickly.

Against non-bruisers/stun-locking tanks though, yes, I agree that Yasuo is rather very brokenly over-board & needs to be tuned down a bit, due to the amount of FAST wave-clear that he has even at very early-game levels, not to mention the speed at which he can just chunk down turrets, even at very early levels... plus the fact that his kit is entirely resourceless with no mana-costs abilities on LOW cool-downs, like seriously, what the hell is Riot thinking releasing these kinds of characters!?
