getting out of silver

So. This Yasuo calls me a moron, for asking why he didn't get the ult off my Q knock up where i hit 4 people. I ask him to say sorry and he calls me a "retard" then "inbred".. I tell him, "Say you're sorry, I'm in base till you say that". He continues to call me all sorts of names and ends up sticking with "crybaby". So what have I learned from this experience?

There is no amount of typing that could express my sorrow for the player base... this person didn't even care about winning, all he cared about was badmouthing me to the bitter end. Eventually the team blames me... but all I wanted was a "sorry" even if it was superficial from him. It wouldn't have taken much for him to type that amidst all his foul language and inappropriate behavior. Still... the team blames me.

Long story short, 1 toxic player can create a downward spiral with no end that leads to defeat. If people treat you poorly, just mute and try your best. The lesson that should be taken from this is that you're here to play the game and try and have fun... honestly it wasn't very fun for me.. but now I realize there are some players that just cannot for all they are worth say sorry.

tl;dr. mute, play. try to have fun.

That's why you don't even respond. Seriousily though, wtf, you "ask him to apologize"? That is some of the worst kinda toxic shit I've heard in a while lmao. Idk maybe I'm not understanding the context, but that's messed up. I wouldn't apologize.

What makes me cringe even more is that was a high gold game.... Lot's of toxic players everywhere, this is why I add the chill ones.

Let me make sure i understand: He missed an ult opportunity, and you told him to apologize? Then you punish your entire team by AFK'ing? Sorry, but chat logs aren't going to end well for you.

Did you tell Ashe you were sorry when she got killed for first blood? Or tell her sorry again when she died a couple minutes later? Did you tell your team sorry when you lost the first dragon?
How about telling the team sorry for losing the tower and dying in the process?

Would you like it if someone nit picked and second guessed any misses you make? Pretty ridiculous when players think they can tell other players how to play and then are surprised when the other player doesn't want to hear it. He could've responded with a "oops" and moved on - but you punishing your entire team for one player shows who the BM really is.

I'm pretty sure you are the problem. Your the toxic one if you ask me. Teemojenkins has valid points.

Even if OP was in the wrong for provoking things in the first place, there is NO need for the insults and for you guys to think its Ok for the Yasuo to be slinging names like that are wrong. Never any need for malicious names

You could've reacted differently instead of threatening to afk. Just mute him, report him after game, and move on. But since you chose to threaten with afk, which was probably the reason your team eventually ganged up on you, you probably also got reported for afk/refusing to communicate with the team. If I were on your team I'd be more salty about the afking than the bad mouthing.
