Hi! So I am kinda new here. I started playing league of legends a month ago and love it. I constantly play as a support using Ashe as my primary champion. So I wanted to know when I should start PVP. Currently, I am at level 7. If you could give me any more tips that would be AWESOME!! Ashe

I'd keep doing bot games until it's pretty easy for you to beat the intermediate level bots most of the time. Probably the most important thing is that you learn to last-hit minions somewhat reliably.

I'm new too :L I started pvp as soon as I could though, but practiced last hitting in custom games. I suck in pvp lol, but I've just been telling myself that it's ok, I'm new, and I'll get better with experience. I've read before that you don't want to learn a "wrong way of pvp" from the bots or something, sooo might as well go into solo-q, feel the pain, and learn the hard way.

I would say start pvp asap. Bots can only teach you so much and bots will NEVER do anything that make you go 'omg i didnt know you could do that' i would also say that ashe as a support is fine for your level but does not offer enough utility for later levels. If you want to go the route of a true support would recommend morgana and soraka for low level play due to the fact that they are cheap / easy to acquire but still very viable as supports in higher level and ranked play.

immediately

mute everyone and just play pvp asap

Take it from someone who actually plays ranked and not someone who plays more co-op VS a.i. than they do anything else. cough^ not naming names

As soon as you have played 10 ish games with a champion, at your summoner level jump straigh t into pvp. yes there will be smurfs. yes sometimes oyu will play against higher level people.

But for the most part people at your level are at the same disadvantages you are. Don't own many champions, and have no runes.

You can't buy tier 3 runes until level 20. So don't wait that long.

It is a HUGE advantage to learning a champion without runes. I'll explain

If you get good at a champion without r unes, only with base stats. and i mean good enough youd call yourself skilled. How do you think youll play when you start with an extra 15 attack damage level 1, and armor? The answer is, if you can last hit with low ad, can not die much with low armor, then you've already became better than the vast majority of bronze players. It's mean to say but it's the truth.

You wanna play adc, I play adc, i know low level adc. http://www.lolskill.net/summoner/NA/optikz/champions thats my ranked stats this season. I'm silver 5, with 480 ranked games. here is why i recommend learning adc in pvp before getting runes.

adc's start with 50-60 attack damage base(ish), level 1. this makes it alot harder to last hit minions whenever your attack barely does more damage then there's does.

Last hit = gold. If you can last hit well with 55 attack damage, what do you thinks gonna happen when you start out with 70 attack damage? You'll last hit even better because it will be easier.

There you already have a huge advantage over someone who waited until they got runes to actually pvp.

CSing against bots ( creep killing) is nothing like csing against a human player who is trying to kill you every chance they get.

So button up your boots, load your rifel ( or quiver ) and set forth ontot he Summoenrs rift for some player vs player action. This is the only true way to get better. Experience, experience against other players.

To answer your question, ashe was reworked a few patches ago, meaning that her abilities are now better than they were before. she's a very good adc to learn now, and if you can land her ultimate it can completely turn fights.

You can start whenever you want, just get a grip of 1-2-3 champions and go either blindpick or team builder.

You will meet lots of ppl who don't know what they are doing anyway untill you get to lvl 30. use that time to see which champions are worth focusing on, train in last hitting and poke, warding and general game emchanics. Also learn what mistakes you can exploit.

Keep playing bots and rack up that IP for Tier 3 Runes, you're gonna need them for PVP. For now, stick with champions that have a fairly easy kit to use and learn to last hit minions, look up guides, there is plenty to learn about this game, Foxdrop, JeremyGC make guides just to name a few. Practice makes perfect, I wish you luck when you tackle the rift with other summoners! ^.^

P.S just ignore the toxics, not worth the time and effort ;D

Whenever you feel like you're ready.

But you probably wanna hit lvl 30 first, and get a basic set of runes.

I'd also suggest you make sure you can handle Intermediate bots on all three of Summoners Rift, Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar (Dominion).

SR is just nice for general getting to know the game.

TT is great for learinng how to skirmish well, how to gank effectively, and just in general forces you to fight in unfavourable situations more often since it's easier for the opposing team to get control of the map if you play passively.

CS is great for learning how to roam, how to group, the importance of retreating, how to cope with a noncommunicative team, and (funnily) how to ensure a favourable teamcomp. There's been so many times when no one picked a carry and the enemy lineup was three tanks, a tanky mage and an ADC, and we just couldn't get through the tanks at all.

Then I started paying attention to what everyone else picked and tried to round out the team.

Just remember that wins don't come as automatically on TT and CS as they do on the Rift. You have to actually work for it. All of you.

Other than that, the most important thing is that you have fun. There's nothing wrong with having fun with bots, but if you feel like you really wanna get on with it and start PVP right away, then do that.

I'd suggest waiting until lvl 30 though, if only for masteries.

Bot games are ideal for you at this time. You can PvP at any point and time you wish. Only problem is that League has a "smurf" problem. Smurfs are people who have level 30 accounts already and often times are ranked meaning they are much more experienced than their competition. Typically 3/10 players in a below level 10 game are smurfs. This problem is that prevalent. So if you don't mind going up against people who hiding their experience then by all means do proceed. But if you're like me and get no enjoyment out of getting mopped every other game where it isn't even close then bots is where you will want to be. I recommend beginner bots until you hit about level 16. Then intermediate bots all the way to 30. Beginner bots it is pretty hard to lose to. But intermediate bots can beat you if you keep committing errors. They're called intermediate but when I made the switch it is a BIG difference in the quality of the AI, so you may lose the first few. But eventually you'll pick up on some of the stuff the bots do and learn from what they do. The only thing that they do that you shouldn't do is chase for kills.

Also, if you're serious about supporting you may want to look into something other than Ashe. Ashe is best used as an ADC. She isn't a horrible support but there are better choices. You should look into buying Soraka, Morgana, Janna or Sona and see if you like either of them. Sona is probably the easiest of those 4 and Soraka is the cheapest.
