Champions to buy

Ok so I'm new, and have been playing about two weeks, and was just wondering your opinions on what champions to buy for beginners. Sorry if this is a really common question, but I was just curious. I currently have Garen, Annie, Tryndamere, Master Yi, and Ashe. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Also, I generally lean towards fighters/ melee. I work best with guys like Garen and Tryndamere.

Since you're still new now might be the time to pick up a champ that takes some more skill to play, spamming them in normals as you work your way up is an excellent way to learn the champion and then you can even use them to help carry you through ranked.

Not sure what role you play mostly so I'll give a couple for each role.

Top: Gnar/Riven JG: Udyr/Shaco Mid: Zed/Orianna ADC: Vayne/Kalista Supp: Braum/Leona

All of them are great at what they do and most of them, all but Shaco really, bring a lot to a team fight.

Hope this helps :)

Udyr and Warwick are easy to learn junglers, both having excellent sustain and dueling strength. WW has fairly bad ganks pre-6 however, but his team fight power is great with his team wide AS buff. Udyr has much better ganks but only decent team fight power, both stay strong the entire game, though.

Malphite and DrMundo are forgiving top laners, both having high defensive stats allowing you to misplay more often than say, MasterYi. If you really want to learn top lane though, I say you give Nasus a try, his Q allows you to stack damage on it infinietly, which teaches a lot of beginners the importance of farming. Though because of this, his early game power is low, which forces you to play safe, another good lesson to learn.

Annie is a all around fantastic mid laner. Her Q makes farming a breeze, she's got an on hit stun from her passive, and her ult is truly one to be feared, and you already have her too!

Taric is super simple support, a point and click stun, ally heal and buffs make him useful even if under fed, he's only good if the enemy team is super AD heavy, however. Also, if you master the pull on Blitzcrank, you will be the God Hand.

ADC's I know next to nothing about, I've heard Caitlyn is the easiest to learn out of them all, though.

The one champion I found was the best (at least in my opinion) was Cho'gath. Chogath

He can go mid, top, or jungle (preferred top lane) and has a fairly easy kit. A knockup (enemy champion will be stunned but these tend to hit more targets) with an aftermath slow, a silence (enemy champion cannot use abilities for a duration), and a passive (think about an ability that casts by itself) wave clear ability. His passive lets you heal when you simply kill something, and his ultimate is an execute (finish off wounded target) that increases your health and increases your size making you bad ass. Plus, Cho'gath can take A LOT of punishment when you buy health and armor/resistance items. His passive also lets you stay in lane longer, so if you get poked at with a spell, you can just heal most of it back up. (Your passive also restores a small bit of mana).

Udyr Udyr is pretty simple to pick up and learn. He has no skill shots and for the most part his kit is very straight forward. He costs 1350 so he won't completely break the bank but he may take about a week to work up enough IP to afford him.

Shen Shen is a little bit harder but also very versatile. He has a more defensive style. Usually played top lane but he can be used to jungle and support. You'll need to save up a little for him as he costs you 3150 IP.

Renekton Moving up the IP ladder is Renekton who costs 4800 IP so he may take you about a month to save up for. He's a very strong lane bully who has mobility, tankiness and raw power. One of the hardest top laners to play against in the right hands.

Darius Lastly is Darius. He costs 6300 IP so start saving now. His kit resembles that of Garen quite a bit but he hits MUCH harder. He is the hardest person to lane against and fills the same role as Renekton: lane bully. He's also very strong right now and is pick or ban status.

get rivenRiven and fizzFizz

if you have good skills choose a wicked hard champUrgot (the hardest to play in this game)

first do not save for 6300 champions, use RP for that. The reason being is it literally takes a month of playing everyday before you get that amount of ip. Second, you are not going to get the advice here that you want. Everybody has a different opinion on champions, and honestly there is no 2 champions that are alike. Therefore, you need to play as many champions as possible in the free rotation and buy them then. The worst thing you can do is buy champions before you play them.
