Lissandra and Ryze Two very good mage champions that just destroy in team fights

A large mid pool isn't necessarily the way to go. Don't forget to pick up another role that you are good with with a couple champions in that role. However, if you really want to diversify your mid champion pool I would suggest Xerath as he is a god in a well established poke composition and you don't seem to have the best options for fitting into a poke team comp. Nothing wrong with that, but Xerath's ability to snipe from afar is very powerful.

Pick some other roles too. A lot of people wanna go mid in soloq so master atlease 2 more roles. If u want another good mid champion i suggest akali! once shes ahead, you can snowball and assassinate quick. If you ever get focused though, you are most likely dead unless you use shrowd properly.

Here are some of my favorite Mid Laners:

Brand

  • Pros: great teamfight when you have good peel and great positioning, great damage potential, good hard CC, easy poke, and some of the best waveclear.

  • Cons: skillshot reliant, low mobility, mana issues without Blue buff or careless casting.

Malzahar

  • Pros: fantastic 1v1, great AoE silence, high damage potential, good sustain, good poke, Voidlings capable of blocking skillshots, Malefic Visions can farm while out of lane.

  • Cons: Very high Mana costs specially late game, natural pushes wave if you are not careful with abilities, only form of CC is a silence with a decent delay, Ultimate suppresses him and can easily be stopped by CC, heavily reliant on ultimate for damage, low mobility.

Talon

  • Pros: high damage, high mobility, great out play potential, roaming is very easy, invisibility allows for great engages or escapes, AA reset for easy farming, 99% slow, his Q has a bleed effect which makes diving easier.

  • Cons: a weak early early game, low mana pool and moderately high mana costs, squishy with no form of defense other then invisibility, countered by Pink wards or Scanner, reliant on items.

Karma

  • Pros: high base damage, access to her ultimate at level 1, sustain with her W, a decent shield plus MS boost, her Q deal AoE damage plus a slow as well as dealing great damage, early to mid game she is very strong, very versatile, low mana costs, great teamfight with her ultimates versatility.

  • Cons: falls off hard, if she doesn't get ahead early she is forced into a more supportive role, very squishy without her shield, low AP scalings.

I personally take Malzahar as my Mid for normals or when i want to have fun, as he is a bit too susceptible to mobility and ganks i dont take him into Ranked often. I take Talon mid in Ranked because not many people at my low ELO seem to know how to handle him. Im like low Silver so my input is probably not the best but this is just what ive found from my experience, plus my personal preferences.

I'd argue you have a pretty good champion pool to play around with.

If you have a small champion pool you end up having to deal with a lot of matchups you wouldn't find favorable or you might get hammered by bans from the enemy team (or errant bans from your own team).

Have a champion pool too large, and you end up not being able to play most of it well enough to compete.

Your mid lane champion pool seems to be a big enough to not get hard countered and banned out but also small enough that you can afford to practice them regularly.
