Condescending Behaviors

Most of you have probably have seen something like this: Player A (silver 5 player): u bronze noob so bad Player B (bronze 1 player): stfu scrub lol Player A : skill is the reason im in silver 5 and not in bronze Player B : ur literally one rank above me stfu

Imagine you were on a high school basketball team and you were being condescending to middle school basketball player/s.

That makes 0 sense because not only have you played basketball for a longer period of time, you also know more about the game itself.

No matter your rank, think about the fact that you were never as good as you are now, and by playing more games, you have gotten better.

TL; DR

You used to be worse in the past than now, and even if there's a player that is a lot worse than how bad you used to be, don't be condescending because everyone learns at different rates.

What Does it Change

Does toxicity prevent "bad players" from making bad plays all of a sudden?

Short answer: no

Long answer:

Player A (silver 5 player): u fken suck noob ********* Player B (bronze 1 player): oh dam i gotta play better now thx

Now that's NEVER gonna happen right? Kappa

Don't Tell Me

Don't tell me you've never had a bad game? If your answer is "no, I never had a bg", then you are a lying ______ (fill in the blank time yay! :D).

When you were having a bad game and some1 else was telling you how bad you were or how many mistakes you made, did that make you feel better?

Try to think about how they would feel if you started going off on them.

Conclusion

Toxicity really won't change anything besides making you feel better by going off on others.

But, if you want to win games, since almost every game is winnable, you should stop being toxic and start being encouraging.

PS: add more of your own as my list is probably not complete for how to prevent toxicity XD
