Should You Use Ignite or Teleport?
This video seemed to summarize it very well, but what spell do you use? I use Ignite a lot but so many other top laners and ven bot laners I see now use Teleport.

Always fucking take teleport as a top laner. ALWAYS.
As someone who "mains" top-lane I have a hard time deciding for some reason. I used to run teleport back in the day (early season 3) when I first began playing the game on Singed for some reason (teleport back to lane after getting enough gold for tear...), and that's when I realised how good it was a split push spell, but nobody acknowledged it.
Nowadays it's almost the rule of thumb as a top laner. However in season 4 when I was low elo I would often pick ignite instead because I had games with TP when I asked our support to ward their bush so I could TP gank, or for someone to drop a ward when contesting dragon but there was no teamwork, and my teammates would rage at me for trying to split-push even though I urged them that I had TP so I could join a fight if they got engaged on.
TL;DR With split-pushers TP is a must. With people who have a poor early game it's a must. With people who have super disruptive kits and can change the tide of a battle if they TP it's a must. But for champs who are great at fighting and duelling I often go ignite.
Ignite for burst champs or assassins like zed, LB, etc. Teleport for tanks/split pushers Nasus, Fiora, etc.

I almost always take TP top lane. The exception being Mordekaiser, since a) Ignite is a great combo with his ult and b) you need that combo to secure early kills. It's too easy to survive his ult otherwise. Plus, as Morde, once I get my 
I want to fight and fight often. Otherwise I pretty much always take TP. In general, I find that lane bullies or players who want to fight and snowball in top lane take Ignite. When I'm just looking to farm and wait for mid/late game, I take TP.
Why not both?
You take ignite to win lane, and win lane hard
You lose a lot of kill pressure with teleport. I love my ignite but then again I am just level 17 (tele top does make a lot of sense though and I play it with my jax)
Why choose?
Take both. Win lane, win game.
