Can someone save me from Nidalee jungle?

I swear whenever I play Nidalee I feed and lose. Can some Nidalee main or someone save me from my curse? I try really hard, but I miss all my spears, my traps are useless and my early game clears are horrible. I've been playing Nidalee jungle for over 20 games and I still play really badly on her. I've won like 5 games and I was carried in those games -.- I always go negative and I'm SICK of it. And when there's a person right in front of me I always miss my spear. In fact I always miss my spear, even on jungle camps.

Can someone tell me how to play Nidalee? I've been trying really had to learn Nidalee but after around 20 losses I just think Nidalee isn't my champion, but I really, really want to be able to play her at least decently. At the moment I get 5 deaths or more per game and get at most 4 kills in a game.

1- Clearing camps 2- Spears 3- Traps

1- Clearing camps

the most important thing in my opinion is the auto attack reset combo. Mastering this will improve your Nid by 500%!! It allows you to destroy wards at lvl 1 if supporting, and deals a constant string of damage when clearing camps. Once you've perfected this technique on camps, you'll be able to do it in team fights and chase ganks. The reset occurs when you switch cougar form. Ex. AA+R+AA+Q (Human), AA+Q+R+AA (cougar). In other words, if you feel like your left with a time gap where your doing nothing but waiting for your next available ability, this technique fills in that gap. If mastered it is an infinite combo. You have to get a feel for when you know the animation is complete so you can immediately string the next command (listening for the hit sound effect helps, but when you do your first successful combo, it's all muscle memory). Go train with bots and just practice spearing Blue. You can fine tune and understand the hit box when aiming between the 2 little minions. Take your time and really try and learn the hit box when fine tuning your aim. I like focusing on the left side of my skill shot not the very tip, although the very tip is where it lands.

Start at the lane where adc and supp can help with first camp (even if you rly want blue). You can go with Top help but its more for a faster first camp clear which will help your solo clearing. At 1:54(1:53.5) throw your spear from close to max range maybe 8.5/10 distance ( just so teammates don't take too much aggro from first hits). AA then R+Q+AA. Keep continuing until you can smite. Blue is pretty easy to solo cause you can waste your heal since your getting blue anyways, but this situation is if Red is your next camp. Red is probably the only time you have to kite a bit because you only have 2 abilities. So start at bush across from Red and throw a spear. AA+R+E+Q. This is the safest way to give almost max damage before Mark runs out. You can however Spear+AA+R+AA+E+Q. Basically all your doing is seeing how many animations you can get in until you can Q at the moment Mark runs out. The distance at which you throw the spear dictates how long you have until Mark runs out because you still have to run up to get in range (which wastes Mark time). So like i said sometimes 8.5/10 distance is best to decrease the amount of walk time. Now even if this combo is infinite and you can just stay in one place and continue the combo, you are still very squishy and you'll want to minimize any damage taken. So whenever you have to restart the combo with spear, run away a bit so you can wait for spear cooldown, this allows red to waste time walking instead of continuously attacking you with its animation. After Red you'll be quite low, so go for scuttle after. Most of the time ppl don't do scuttle after their blue, or if any case you'll clear your camp before they do so you'll be able to do scuttle before them. Just hide in the bush for a few seconds to see if they go scuttle instead of wolves. If all is clear, spear it only once and continue the combo until its dead. You don't want to waste too much mana on spear, because you need to heal so you can do birds. If you want drink a health potion, but it isn't necessary. Now if you've been training and have found the spot where you can spear BigBird from max range, clearing birds should be fairly easy. Just level up after killing big bird so you can use W on smaller birds (minimizing unnecessary dmg). From this point on you have 3 abilities and clearing camps should be very easy. You can tele back home and upgrade Jg item (which in turn will give you more gold for blue side camp), or you can go start to wolves. You'll probably be 3/10 of health with a bit of mana... holy crap this is long and i'm only on clearing camps. This is def TL:DR i'll continue with the rest later or maybe make a euw account :p. Just go against bots and train you're spear by aiming in between blue. Also the infinite combo once you're lvl 3 is Spear+R+Jump+AA+E+Jump+AA+Q. That is the max amount of animation before Mark runs out when perfectly done. Also for Golems spearing from max range behind the wall+AA+jump+smite+Q is a very quick way to clear that camp. Ill continue after if you have question after you've tried what I've told you. This is just a fraction of Nid as well, so much more to come. This is just taking a long time to write. Also runes and masteries are based on preference. I've tried alot of combinations, but my personal fav is 29 ap+10%crit. Thats all brown runes crit and 4 gold crit. Also 30-0-0 with frenzy. This is because Q in cougar can crit, which in turn is easy camp clears (also not mentioning the AA reset being able to crit as well).

Nidalee is to be played as a gank/invade jungler a lot of the time. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are an experienced jungler. Her clears really aren't that great but she can place a trap in front of a jungle monster and then when the enemy goes to clear out that camp it pretty much gives you full vision of when they are taking that camp. You then proceed to pay them a visit, outsmite them for the buff and then kill them and set them behind. Then go steal some of their jungle if their laners do not pursue you. If they do get out and have your laners bail you out or take the enemy tower. That's how you have to play Nidalee. Counter jungle, invade and make the enemy jungler's life a living hell. Then chuck spears from the wraith camp at the enemy mid laner. Every time I had a Nidalee who carried this is what they did. And do take note that your first wave clear will be difficult. Nidalee really isn't a hardy champion so she will most likely have to back before the other guy.

if you got a NA account that'd be perfect, but if not i can write a few tips down so you can learn the mechanics of her.

edit: oops just noticed you said NA EUW. I'll write a few tips

very very long sorry :p. just want to go into detail as much as i can. Training the infinite reset is the biggest step you can take. Also using the left side of your Spear aimer is something you can do to train where your spear is landing. This way you can use a straight line as your aimer instead of the very tip of the design. What i do is look at the left line and probably half way when it starts to curve on the tip. Lol iunno if that makes sense, but experiment and see where the hitbox is based on that.

if your very confident with your spears, i go max ap so death cap first, ludens, furorboots, rylais, zohnyas. i also get blue smite to add to the combo. every style is different. I dont build health or tankyness cause i know how to move around and save myself through wall jumps with flashes. You'll get a feel for what right for you.

edit: Combo is Spear+AA+R+Jump+AA+E+Jump+AA+Q. I also max Q-E-W but the most effective thing to do is get E before your last lvl of Q. just so your not stuck with a lvl 1 E. I don't follow this method because i want alot of dmg :P but i should be.

I actually have not played a lot of Nidalee myself, but I have learned a few things that might be helpful. Remember that her traps stuns monsters, so that will help you clear. Be sure to switch forms frequently to take advantage of all of your abilities and cooldowns. Anytime someone is marked it allows you to dive from farther away. She also moves faster through the brush, so use that to your advantage when chasing or escaping.

Hitting spears just takes a lot of practice. Be sure to read where the enemy is walking. It is usually easier to hit from fog-of-war because the enemy won't see it coming. For some reason it feels easier to hit enemies when they are under turret, too, because their movements are more telegraphed.

Her first few clears can be difficult because she is squishy. Be sure to use heal and don't be afraid to back. There is no sense in ganking when you have low health because that will cause you to feed. Keep your distance until you are confident you will get the kill, because her range is her strong point. Practice will help you gauge when to dive and when to stay far.

Nidalee is really squishy but has plenty of tricks you can use to reduce damage to yourself. Nidalee's R and Cougar Q reset her auto attack so if you play it right you can get off about 3 auto attacks in about 1.5 seconds. Use this when clearing jungle creeps especially early on as it will speed up your clear time.

Simply put human: use your Q on the creep you want to kill then auto attack then hit r and auto attack again then hit q to reset and get off the third auto.

as far as camps go Gromp>Blue>wolves>Red - Gank or Krugs>Red>Wolves>Blue - Gank

Mid lane and top are the easiest to get kills for me but bot can be good if the enemy is pushing hard and or your bot has good cc.

I like getting purple or red smite. If they have a lot of damage soak and not big hyper carries or assassins I go purple but if they have assassins or really strong hyper carries like Yi then I go red smite for the 1v1 power. Red smite reduces the damage they can do to you so it really helps since you are squishy.

As for items I rarely get any durability items outside of hourglass.

I finish ruineglaive as soon as possible and grab arm guard then either work on morellos/grail or on hour glass followed by deathcap, luden's, and void staff. I typically only get RoA when I'm against assassins or having a rough start.

Bruiser builds are better left to lane Nidalee but that's not very good.

BTW do you use smart cast? I find I miss more Javelin's and that they are less accurate using smart cast.
