tl;dr : I suck some hardcore balls in the jungle, tip the bronze scrub.

I'm saying this flat out, not sugar coating it, I suck at jungling, I main the middle lane (I play a whole spew of champions, mostly AP bursters) and whenever I'm in those draft/ranked games and I'm forced to jungle, its just awkward. I'm super confused on what to do, and when to do it. I have bad dragon/baron control, I have a super hard time ganking anyone at all (a lot of games I'll end up not ganking at all), and I have a hard time finding balance between ganking and farming. I just want to be able to jungle without a 90% lose rate(not actual statistics but it might as well be). So for any jungle main out there, or if you just have general tips for jungling, I would love to hear it. Thanks for any and all advice.

Pick up a jungler with easy mechanics and clear and practice your jungle route. Nunu is a really good place to start. I main zac at the moment. While nunu won't teach you all the ganking paths he does have half decent gank potential when the enemy is overextended.

If you're going to gank a lane make sure you're packing a sweeper after your first back or make sure you smite raptors.

On nunu I feel like a good clear path is gromp into blue into wolves or red depending on whether or not you fee like you're going to be able to gank.

As a zac main I always start gromp follow up with blue and then wolves. That puts me at lvl 3 which is a decent time to gank overextended laners. Though you're not limited to overextended laners if you know what you're doing.

If someone isn't super overextended when you're jungling nunu it's best to farm up and try to take an early dragon. Nunu is a beast at object control and his devour gives him amazing sustain in the jungle. 10/10 best jungler to start off learning jungling with.

I handled my learning kinda weirdly. I took zac top lane and eventually I transferred my knowledge over to the jungle. So honestly whatever helps you best.

I'm not a jungle main, but here's some tips. As a jungler, you don't have to pay attention to CS. Try looking at minimap more. Check where enemy jungler is, check if any lanes are pushed to your side, etc.

Gank when there's an opportunity. This can be an enemy overextending, staying while low health, flash down, etc. If you think you can get a kill, you should gank that lane. It's a huge bonus if your laner has a lot of CC.

I'm not sure what kind of jungler you're playing, but you should play someone you're comfortable with. Since you're familiar with AP mid lane burst champions, try playing Diana, Ekko, or Akali jungle. I suggest playing tanky junglers since your mistakes will cost you less (basically easier) if you'd like to play something else.

dont ever risk dying, farm alot to get strong, play champions who can actually farm up fast when they want to (not volibear for example) and who scale good into dueling and mid-lategame fights.

examples are: elise lee sin shyvana olaf fizz gragas hecarim diana irelia riven

chose 2 of them and play them alot
