I usually play Veigar. When I am not first pick but still mid I tend to go against Fizz. He is a real pain for me to go against but I would like to continue playing Veigar. How do I play against Fizz as Veigar so I could continue playing him.

Pre6: poke the fish to death with AAs, punish him for every cs he wants (use Qs also)
Post 6: stay near tower, be very careful, use E after he uses E, poke from a distance
If ult is down, you can get closer to AA poke
get ganks
take advantage when his E is on cooldown
NEVER ult him when his E is up, and he isnt under hard CC
Fizz is sometimes considered the #1 counter to Veigar, so be careful
He can dodge both your stun and your ult, and Q +W via regular means
that is a REALLY hard match up
He is not that bad once you get used to the matchup.
Pre rework veigar was easy as balls for fizz but with the new veigar u can at least farm with his Q range.
Go flask into any t2 boots what u need (just to get the bonus ms). Summoners are 
Play passive, get as much as u can with ur Q clear the rest with W and PRESERVE ur damned E for self defense AFTER he used trollpole. Also when u are running away from him place a W in ur way and try to stay under it so he has to decide wether to commit hitting you or avoiding your meteor.
After that standard "imanimmobilesquishyvscertainlyTbschamps" strategy: zhonya into banshee and finish ur normal item build.

Bait him into a stun I guess? You're going to have to be super careful to not take too much harass.
i would consider to try to poke with your q while staying under your tower. although you will lose stacks early, it will pay off, since you get them via kills, just abuse how the veigar's q goes thru first target. i would also try to get heal, since he isnt a kill lane any way and his second ss is very situational.
