Hi guys!

English is not my mother tongue, so sorry for my bad english!

1: After the game ends, normally I got more phisical damage, so, as a general rule, should we focus more in armour?

2: In team fights, I guess it's kind of rare to get too much autoatacks. Like, if Tristana's start shooting an APC, he could simply get closer and kill her... So, I guess Ninja tabi is more to avoid kitting (and to counter Trynda)... But, overall, it's better to buy other items to increase the chances I get out of a team fight alive.

3: There is some champs that doesn't do much in teamfights, like Gangplank (I guess! I just played with him twice and done great in splitpushing)... I mean, his attacks isn't much of a great deal, he has no nuke... Wouldn't it be better to be splipushing and using his ult while he is far away? So, what I mean is: Is there some champs that should avoid getting in teamfights?

4: How to stop dying when playing assassins? In team fights when I'm playing with champions like Kha'Zix, I try to jump to the ADC, hit him and then walk away invisible... But, as soon as I jump, I got CCed and killed... =P Any hints?

5: When playing some ADC/AD fighter champion, should I first buy damage itens, then attack speed and, only after that, crit chance items?

6: What is a great "base damage" in lvl 1, 2, 3 and 4? For example: Brand's Sear does: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240. Is it too much damage, too low, just "meh..." ? What should be a high level 1 base magic damage? And a low?

  1. What is a great scaling abilitie? For example: Brand's conflagration does: 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+ 55% AP) Is that a great scaling, or is it just ok...? Like, abilities that does over X% AP/AD scales great...

Thanks a lot! =)

  1. I think what's happening here is that when you play khazix, during a teamfight, you jump for the adc (good)... who is in the middle of their team or with a buddy (bad). Unless you are a tanky initiator like J4 or Xin, that's not what you want to do. As khazix, let the rest of your team initiate, and wait until a target is isolated before going in, or at least when they are out of reach of their teammates (preferably one of the carries). Remember that it's ok to build a tanky item on Khazix if you keep getting blown up (item 3143 and item 3102 are good options, for example)

  2. This depends very much on the champion. Some champions, like Vayne , have an ability that does true damage every third autoattack. Therefore, people focus more on attack speed than straight up damage. This is essentially impossible to answer; i suggest looking up a guide for the champions you have in mind at solomid.net or something like that.

  3. A champion with good 'base stats' means that they have fairly good AD, AP, Armor, etc. without having to buy items that give them that stat. For example, this lets a lot of bruisers build almost all tank while letting them to significant damage (JarvanIV , XinZhao , Darius ). While all AP carries need AP items to be useful, some (like Brand and Velkoz ) have pretty great base AP damage, so they don't have to rush the mega-AP items to be useful. Usually, champions that are meant to be strong early have good early base stats, while champions that are meant to be stronger late will have abilities that scale strongly with bonus AP/AD (ie. the items you buy) or with your champion's level (the reason why Mordekaiser should always be farming, hue).

The answers to a lot of your questions here will come with experience and games played. I hope these answers helped a bit :)

Thanks a lot Merxamers! =)

I'm trying to make some sense of the game, but, man, LOL is complicated! =P

So many things to consider...

No problem! 8)

Just keep playing the game, watch some streamers on Twitch, read a couple guides, you'll get the hang of it

Yes, it really helped a lot! Thanks Merxamers! =)

Just a few questions...

What is a good scaling? Like: Brand's conflagration does: 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+ 55% AP) Is 55% AP a good scaling?

Also, 70 magic damage in lvl 1 is good, bad or average?

Thanks again!

i don't really know the answer about 'good' or 'bad' scaling in general. I DO know that Brand in particular is meant to be the highest damage area of effect (AoE) damage mage in the game. He does really good damage, and his passive gives an additional % maximum health damage. I would say that an ability that reads "... + 50-100% AP/AD" is pretty darn good scaling, as an AD heavy champion will usually have between 200 and 300 AD, and an AP carry will have between 350 and 600 AP by the end of the game.

I would say that 70 damage is pretty good at level 1, but that kind of question is very context dependent.
