Hello. I'm a Level 19 player, And I'm trying to get good at this game. I'm currently trying to be a mage/support player, but I don't have enough Ip to unlock another support, My nunu sucks, and my only good mage is Heimy. I'm trying to get down Anivia and Ryze though. Any advice would be appreciated, as I often cause defeat for my team.

what you should be trying to get is a support OR a mage... if you try to do both 80% of the time you will do neither.

Hmm Anivia is really difficult to learn. I think Ryze makes a decend sup though, if only because he doesn't need much to do a lot: item 2049 item 3070 item 3024 he lacks peel though, so get item 3025 asap.

His MR reduction makes him best as an APC Sup though, which is a less common setup, but an option, when you have enough AD elsewhere.

You could also try SorakaSoraka , she only costs 450 and is pretty strong right now.

You're lvl 19, messing up is part of the experience, just keep playing PVP and you'll improve.

Just remember some mage like ryze are late game, so unless you get lots of farm/kill early, you're not going to be super strong. On the other hand champions like lux , leblanc, ziggs, and etc are mid game terror meaning they're at their peak when they are at mid game. Learn how champions work, if you vrs a frustrating enemy champion mid, analyze their skills and try to think what combos they would use. After the game youtube the champions name and watch how it works.

As for support, try to synergize with your partner, try to think what your partners thinking and if conflict occurs, discuss it out. Communication is key, ping if you want to go ham (to go "all in" or be very aggressive), ping if you see an enemy or friendly jungler come down, and ward ward ward item 2049 .

The unfortunate part of MOBA games are that one of the big learning curve is to remember champions and what they do, for new players, expecting to remember over a hundred champions, the skill they use, and their niche; is quite unrealistic.

Hi! If you have enough IP to get Janna, I'd say get her because she's a really good support (only 1350, I think). And I can't really tell you what you can be doing better because I (or the rest of us) haven't seen your gameplay. Feel free to add me though, and we can play a few games. I main ad and support so I can give you tips on laning bot.

This is solely my opinion, & these are champions that I recommend:

1)Ryze (mage)

  1. he is strong throughout the game (unless you say being squishy early game/no dmg early game is bad), this champion counters melee champion hard but struggles against long range champions (Orianna, Xerath, Syndra)
  2. his late game is superb, being tanky and also deals damage (which makes him capable of carrying games)
  3. damage scales by max mana, so please do not build ap on this champion
  4. point and click champion, easy to play; but you need to time your cooldowns of ur skill according to your passive to outplay the opponent if you are dueling
  1. Janna (Support)
  1. really defensive support
  2. really defensive
  3. like seriously, no one can touch your adc
  4. not only your ADC, they can't even touch you
  5. really mana hungry early game, though
  6. she is easy to play mechanically, but you need to have good decision making (like all supports)
  1. Annie (mage)
  1. has insane burst
  2. hard engage for teamfights
  3. her bear Tibbers can tank tower shots/deal AoE, DoT damage to enemy if it is in enemy team
  4. has defensive steroids (E)
  5. easy to play, no skillshots involved except for Tibbers and maybe her W
  6. can be semi-assassin (lol)
  7. good at getting picks in the jungle

oh I only play support and adc so I know not so much about mid just try to experiment with free week champions and buy 450 IP champions since they are easy to play as. It'll take some time to find you who you want to main but it's worth it.

Get Annie (mid mage) and Soraka (bot support). 450 IP each.

As Annie, your job is to delete the squishy enemy carries if they are foolish enough to get in range or stun and blow up anyone that comes close to your carry.

Soraka heals. Build AP and heal more damage than any one person dishes out.
