Just looking for ideas on champs

I'm relatively new to LoL (Started playing Jan 4 of this year). In my time I've found that I enjoy the game and I have found a good group that is willing to support me in my slow climb into ranked play. That said, I also find that they are often busy working on their own rankings so they can't answer every question. I figure the people here might be interested in offering their $0.02.

To start, I currently am planning on entering ranked as ADC main, with Support as a strong alternate. But I want to be at least decent all around and to have a good champ selection. Currently I have 12, but sometimes the selection seems off. I will note that I will never play Zed or Lee Sin, so please don't suggest those two.

For ADC I have Jinx - as my main, I have more games on her than any 2 other champs I own, and currently am running about 75% win rate. I like her abilities and scaling, just wish she had a real way to escape other than throw her chompers and pray she gets away. Sivir - my current top alternate, but only 1 game on her Ashe - I just never got totally comfortable with Ashe (I figure I need 1-2 more, but have no real ideas yet.)

For Support I have Zyra - who I'll probably main, I like her abilities Sona - She works for me unless I get a ADC I can't seem to gel with Janna - I'm still learning to play her. (I plan on getting Leona after trying her out this week. - I'm probably ok here for champs)

For Mid I have Diana - who I'm still working out timing on, I haven't done well with her Annie - I know some people consider her support, but I see her here more. I have only 2 games on her, but find her fun to play if a bit frustrating after playing someone like Jinx who has much more range. (I definitely need 1-2 more mids who I can play)

For Top I have Irelia - She's fun Riven - who I need a lot of work with (again, 1 more would be nice, but I have no idea who.)

For Jungle I have Sejuani - I've played her top so far as at level 15 I don't have the runes or masteries to really clear camps, but I have to say I like this tanky champ Elise - Who unless I get a few custom games to practice on I might never bring out again. I sucked on her the first 2 games I tried and am a bit afraid to try again. (I know Sejuani will probably never be picked out from under me, but again 1 more that I'm comfortable with would be nice.)

As a player, I'm in the game to have fun. Winning is important, but I'd rather have a lot of fun and go down fighting with a team that is playing together than playing an uber-carry that the other team hates to play against and my own team ignores. The fact that I am not only willing to play support in normal games, but will ask the ADC which one they'd prefer I bring out is a testament to how I look at the game. I do want to be good, and I've put work into learning how to play. I'm not completely afraid of working on timing or skill shots. I'm just interested in seeing what people think. (And I don't worry if a champ is "hard to play". I can take the time to improve on them. I'd rather play a somewhat obscure champ that takes skill than an "I win" champ that is easy to play.)

You should main graves or sivir as of now if you're an ADC main. Trist's E just got a revamp and is ridiculous now.

Jana takes no skill to play. All you do i press E on the adc thats your big job in teamfights. Is to press E on the adc. Ashe doesnt do any dmg early and has no mobility. Jinx and sivir are good. But cait is also good she has long range and is easy to play. Sej wont get you very far in rank since against a jungler who knows what there doing youll just get countered. Tank junglers are worthless right now. Lee, j4, kha, some what rek not as much now. Are the top junglers atm. I would suggest getting braum over leo for support. Braum does everything leo does but can do it better. Braum has the stun but cna put it on many champs cause of his passive. He has a slow and he can poke with it leo can not poke. He has the armor buff but he can put it on himself and another. Leo cant. He can also escape by useing his W. Leo is an all or nothing supp. He has a wall which blocks damage. Leo does not. He does everything leo does but does it better and can do somethings leo can not. For mid a ziggs is an easy champ to play if you lose lane you can easily sit back a bit and still farm. For top gnar and renekton are strong.

Jinx and Graves are great now.

For top, jax is a solid pick.

Your jungle is really bad though. To the point where you will end up holding your team down by a lot if you get stuck with it. It's better to get someone like jarvan or amumu for there solid team fights and not to shabby ganks.

For support, get some tanker champions. Some games, you might be the only tank on your team.

And for mid, xerath is good. Also, orianna is a solid pick.

Well, let me toss in my two pennies: ADC: Graves - from my time playing this game (Season 2), Graves has never been a "worst champ ever" sort of champ, which means you'll be fine playing him. He has obvious counters (Caitlyn), but he's the prime example of a champ you all in with. Get used to farming with him, maybe poke once or twice with his Q. When your support initiates, go in with your abilities, and auto attack for the kill (or leave the killshot to his ult) Caitlyn - opposite of graves. barely any burst, but lovely to farm with. Safe champion, but hard to escape with.

Support: Soraka - the healer of healers. She isn't the most powerful you can use, but I like her as playing with an offensive build gives her a ridiculous amount of sustain. I've made some saving grace plays with her, and she can be used both defensively and offensively if you position your skillshots right. Taric - oddball choice, but bear with me; His shatter passive, stacked with good armor, makes him very tough against ad champions (also gives armor to nearby champs; pair with graves passive to make an armor juggernaut bot lane). toss in a heal and a stun, and you're set for both offensive and defensive. It's hard to do anything by himself, but he's pretty good in teamfights.

Mid: Ryze - basic mid lane champ. Farm with q, stun any fool that gets too close, and burst them down with all the abilities. Start with ult first for even more burst action.

Top: Mundo - I like tank champions, and I feel you can't go wrong with him. Solid q poke, great health regen, and a better regen as an ult (including movespeed to catch up to people, or escape). Garen - Less Mundo, more damage. Also with the no mana requirement, you'll be fine using your q to farm and initiate, and tank your way through the enemy team.

Jungle: Cho'Gath - Tanky, and gets more so with Feast stacks. He's not the best for ganking, as your success relies entirely on the accuracy of your q. But when it hits...things go well.

I say you can practice your team-fighting mindset in aram, and practice in custom games for farming (I like to farm without using runes or masteries, just to make myself time the last hits even more. In real games, you'll have greater leniency, so get that eye for last hits now.

My favorite top laner someone I would highly recommend to new players. Heimerdinger. He's fun, simple, safe, and actually really strong. He's my go-to top laner in ranked.

Try Udyr out hes really fun.

Toplane: Heimerdinger (Very safe, good farmer, great pusher, mediocre at teamfights. Bullies enemy out of lane, or gets a kill.), Nasus (Relatively safe, good farmer & pusher, tanky if built right, can 1 shot squishy enemies late game with Trinity Force, decent at teamfights), or Vladimir (Very safe, mediocre farmer, Amazing in teamfights, healthy, good sustain, can bully melee).

Jungle: Nocturne (Balanced, decent sustain, decent damage, scary ult, can be built a few different ways, mediocre at teamfights), Diana (Bursty, great ganks, scales well with AP and Attack Speed, alright in teamfights), and Lee Sin (won't bother describing because you won't play him).

Midlane: Brand (VERY bursty, safe, decent farmer, mana hungry, good at deterring ganks), Cassiopeia (high sustained damage, hard to learn, takes time to ramp up in damage, ult can stun a whole team, good poker), and Ziggs (easy to play, high damage, great farmer, mana hungry early, large AoE ult)

No suggestions for ADC, I dislike the role.

Support: Sona (bursty poke, heal, shield, move speed, ult can stun a whole team), Braum (Very tanky, good savior, hard-ish to play), and Thresh (Pull, shield, ult slows enemies for 99% high late game armor, gets AP passively with souls, lots of CC)

As an ADC player, you sound very similar to me in champion choice (sivir being my number 2 and second most played champ in ranked)! I would reccomend Corki to you!! She's my absolute favorite champion in the game. I constantly put up great numbers with her because she has all the elements of a great ADC: a strong escape, aoe damage, poke, and a little stronger than some of the more fragile ADCs). If that still doesn't work for you, maybe give Ezreal or Tristana (or my sleeper pick for game 7 in my world championship: ADC Ahri) a little love!

As support, I would reccomend you get at least one tank. You mentioned Leona who's a great option, as are Braum and Thresh. I would also take a stab at Morgana, she a pretty important support pick that most supports should at least know how to play.

For your mid lane, this is the first spot where our champ pools differ. I am very fond of AP assasins (maybe try Ahri or LeBlanc when they become free) but for now, you should learn some more passive but reliable champs. The quintessential example of this kind of champ is Oriana. A very standard safe midlane utilitarian pick, but Ori also provides strong damage. If that doesn't interest you, I've found poke champs to be a good introducer to the midlane (at least how I began): Nidalee, Ziggs, Xerath. Maybe attempt a Lux or Zyra mid as well!

Top lane is the one lane I rarely play. I honestly can't offer much to you but Irelia. She's my pick whenever I'm forced top in ranked. I'm a traditionalist in terms of league comps, so I think the top lane was meant for tanks which is why I'm also willing to play Dr. Mundo and Shen. Sorry I can't be of more help here!

To round out your jungle, I'll reccomend my favorite of each style of jungler (along with a description): ganker, counter, dueler, and farmer. Ganker-makes trips to lanes often in an attempt to snowball-Amumu. Strangely enough, the little yordle may seem out of place, but his ganks are almost undefendable. If you pick up an early kill or assist on Amumu, most laners instantly play more passive in fear. Very little farming is required on him as well (mostly only buffs). Smite: Blue Counter-steals enemy's camps-Nunu. As boring of a champ as he may seem, Nunu is definetly one of the strongest champs in the new jungle. His ability to counter jungle is rediculous. I've once pulled off a four buff start on Nunu with properly executed abilities! He brings a great threat to the early dragon as well. Smite: White Deuler-Looks for little skirmshes with people in his jungle or the river, but is content with farming-Nocturne. Simply put a great champion with incredible potential when played and built correctly. Useless if even slightly behind. Definition of a snowballer. Smite: Red/Blue Farmer-Looks to farm the jungle but can gank when necessary-Kha'Zix. Not gunna lie, he's been weakened by the Season 5 jungle but Kha is still a threat (or an unseen one). Arguabley the best jungler to take into late game (save Amumu). Smite: Purple/Blue/Red Overall-does it all-Pantheon. Super overpowered at the moment. Easy clear. Easy ganks. Just realize that youre flash will be used offensively all game.

I hope this helped! Feel free to ask for builds for any of these champs!
