I need to learn how to hard carry

I'll start off by saying I know some of the big solo Q carries are people like Tryn, Akali, Zed, Kat etc etc, but I want to hear what people think are the hardest of the hard carries.

I normally play heavy utility and supporting champs. I like having a lot of CC, making plays, and turning a bad situation into a recovered or good situation.

Generally I can fill any role, ADC being my weakest... but most the time in any position I don't feel like my decisions have a whole lot of weight.

So I am looking to try to learn some of what you guys think are the hardest carriers in the game. I'm talking about when fecal matter hits the rotating occilator, I can at least make an attempt to wrap up the game solo. A few of the "carry" champs I have experience with is Nasus, Wukong, and I guess Shyvana... but again it never feels like I am big enough to change the tide of a bad game.

This is less about a champion pool and more about a player. I guess the best champions for this is teamfighters that don't require a lot of gold. Teamfights win games far more often than they should.

There's another component and that's being able to take out the champs that are carrying the other team or is at least fed.

However to turn a game around, your team needs to be able to fight as a team and win, even with a gold deficit. That's not a champ, that's a skill. Even if you go 1 for 1 with the player carrying their team, if your team can't teamfight and theirs can, you guys are still screwed.

So maybe you'll think "I'll just splitpush". It isn't that easy. Especially when your team wants to initiate a 4v5 without you. What usually happens is your team will start a 4v5, die without getting a kill, and you are screwed. Worse yet, they won't know how to delay, disengage, and keep the other team's attention while you split push so even if you are lucky enough that they don't start a lost fight, they won't be able to prevent one either.

My best advice is learn how to win your lane and then learn how to team fight. Learn how to start a team fight and learn how to keep one from starting.

I've been watching http://www.twitch.tv/thornswitcher for past few days. I strongly encourage it. He teaches how to carry in Bot lane and will help you improve your ADC gameplay. You can even submit replays.

you don't have to super hard carry to win games. it's really only maybe one in a dozen games that are won in that fashion.

what you want to do is pick a champion that you can consistently win lane with and has enough mobility to gank other lanes OR is capable of fast pushing your opponent's tower to open up roaming for you.

Example: Top lane Jayce. You certainly won't be 1v5ing with Jayce unless you're disgustingly far ahead, but you'll win lane against most champs because he's a bully, you'll take the tower super fast with his W, he's pretty speedy due to his passive and E allowing him to roam a lot, and he can force people off of towers with his range form Q.
