Support (Thresh) mains, I need your help.

Alright guys, I've been playing this game for about three years now and became a Thresh main late last season. I started off bronze one at the beginning of this year and slowly drug my way up to middle silver. I did this solely as a support main. Recently I've been having a lot of trouble with something I like to call ELO Hell. Whether or not you believe in this term, there is something you have to understand. I do not consider myself a good player, I do not consider myself a good support, however, I feel that I lose games too often due to the skill of the other roles on my team. The truth is (as obvious as this may be, I'm going to say it anyways) supports can not carry in silver. I've been denying this fact as long as I can (approximately 246 Thresh games) and I'm honestly ready to give up on my role. I figured before I do anything too hasty I'd ask you guys and hopefully get some constructive criticism and a little bit of knowledge of what to do next. P.S. If you have anything to tell me that you don't want on the boards go ahead and add me in game.
