A Bad Player

I'm not that new to League of Legends. I'm not that good at this game and I try and I try, but still can't seem to get it right. I try all roles but none I'm really good at. The only reason I'm level 30 is because my friend who is the gold league carried me. And Whatever game I go to I mostly suck and people insult me and things like that but I try to ignore it and stay positive but I know that I'm bad. I know I can't be good at this game once I start it, it's just that I want to learn this game and enjoy it, but most games I go into I make my team loose. And you're probably still wondering when I'm going to get to that point and that is now. I want to know tips and tricks on how to better and how long it took you to get good at the game. The champions that I mostly play are Warwick , XinZhao , and Zac Sorry if my format of text kind of throws you off. Thanks for reading, hope I didn't waste your time.

Took me about a week. My boyfriend i had at the time taught me. WW has 0 early game pressure your basically relying on your lanes to win without any help from you. Zac is a good tank but his damage is horrible. Xin is kinda meh. He has a power spike lvl 3 but unless you get fed you dont do much. However all champs can do good just some that arent currently in the meta are a lot harder to win with. Check your attitude before entering games. If you have the mentality that youll always do bad and just suck then you will do exactly that. Beyond that not much to say without watching you play

You seem alright, you tried to give context with the champs you main, but still. It's agonizing to see all the "give tips on be good" just generally asking how to be good at the game. Anyways, I'll try to give some tips :)

Judging by your champs, I guess you play some Jungle. First thing is, do you have runes? get them. Use the masteries with effects on jungle minions. (I know, incredibly basic stuff, but also important if you don't have them)

If you are playing warwick, try to farm hard until 6 then gank lanes whenever your ult is up. If you are playing Xin Farm hard until devourer becomes Sated Devourer and then gank and fight as much as possible because you are only going to fall off from there. As Zac, you want to gank early, like level 3, max E, farm a little, but mostly just clear your buffs and keep ganking.

Both WW and Xin can solo drag once they get their finished jungle item. Zac probably needs help.

You say you play all lanes at least a bit so: As top lane you want to apply pressure constantly so your opponent can't roam. If you find your self with the lane pushed into their tower and a good amount of health, try taking scuttle or ganking mid. Use teleport to gank bot lane or help fight over dragon if that happens.

As mid lane you want to poke your opponent out of lane so you can farm and roam. You can go to top or bot, whichever looks easier to get kills.

As bot lane you want to take your tower ASAP and then help mid and control drag.

All lanes, you want to farm, ward, and get kills where possible.

I am plat 5 now, I started... a year and a half ago. Idk when I got "good" at the game, it has been a slow consistent process of learning.

As far as understanding where you are on learning the game, If you play ranked and are bronze, you don't know how to play the game. Not to be mean, you just don't know some stuff. Normally this is things like: warding, ganking, drag and baron control, pushing towers. I would say if you are gold, you have a grasp of all the important concepts of the game. If you are confused by my skipping of Silver, it's just that's an intermediary between bronze and gold.

hopefully these tips were somewhat helpful. I know they aren't exactly a guide on how to be gold, but I hope they do assist you in learning the game and increasing your skill and enjoyment of it.

I'm not the best at League. I'm not even ranked yet, so I don't even know if I should talk. But the best tip that could help you in almost every single situation is to try and not die. It doesn't help anyone but the enemy team. But, there are situations where you can't avoid death. In that case, at least try to make it as "wurf" as possible. If you are in a carry role (ADC, Mid, Top, sometimes Jungle) and your lane opponent is about to kill you, don't take death like a sissy. If death is the only way out, go out fighting. If you are a support, at least try to save your ADC. That way, your bot lane still has a chance.

Also, I suggest just plain researching. I used to be like you, I thought I sucked at the game. A high ranked friend carried most of my games. Then, I said to my self, "Gee, I suck. Time to get better." So, I just went online and started researching. YouTube is a great source of Info. There are many channels there that can help you. Also, you can read articles online. Learn the meta, read patch notes, know what is gonna be good and what isn't. Today, I can honestly say I'm better than I was back then.

Hope this helps. Don't ever be let down by your lack of skill. There's always room for improvement. Good luck man.

I was in your position a while ago. In fact, I'm not really much better now than I was a few months ago. Truth is, I don't play this game all the time. I get intimidated to play PvP matches, unless I'm with friends, because I'm afraid someone will flame me for being "bad." My best advice is to just pick a few champions and get good with them, and play with friends. This game can be brutal when you play by yourself. Friends can make the experience much more enjoyable.

Also, if you want to play together, feel free to add me. I'm not great by any means, but I can make good plays every now and then and have a great time while doing so.

Farm is important, for one thing. Other people will probably help you more than me and shorter than what i would say, sorry
