How to beat nasus top with Wuking

Ok here's the deal: I choose wu, go to top vs a nasus, i start harassing...but he has lots of sustain, so he simply ignores me and keep stacking Q, after a while, he comes back with a frozen heart and a stacked Q and starts towerdiving me, i use ult, juke hit him with everything but he just kills me and get out of aggro, then proceeds to push down my turret, late game, it proceeds to walk into my team and completely destroy them with his stacked Q and incredible tankines. I have several games just like this. Things I have tryed: Ignite, buying brutalizer, hydra, armor. My Wu is not that bad vs other champs, so I just don't know how to do something to prevent nasus to become a monster. Any thoughts?

wukong is probably one of the hardest counters to nasus.

If he is able to sustain through you early on, you're not aggro enough. It's easy to dump on Nasus as Wu

I like using Garen top lane and good Nasus is a pain because they all try to freeze lane on their turret where it's hard to harass them.

One game I instead froze lane in front of my turret and punished attempts at Q stacks. He still got them sometimes and also ran off to jungle but our jungler ganked top 3x and Nasus died all 3 (2 kills for jungler, one for me). 3rd kill we took turret and I was level 10 over Nasus 7 (almost 8) with a 15 cs lead for me. Nasus went on to farm jungle + top lane whenever it was pushed and my team still complained to me how he was fed and I lost lane. How going 0-3 with a CS deficit and losing turret while failing to take enemy turret is "fed" is beyond me. We had a chance to win but didn't group for dragon and got wiped/countered.

Next game I fought a better Nasus player who wasn't about to let me freeze lane. Because Garen E pushes I wound trying to stop HIM freezing lane and that's when it gets hard. I couldn't do crap, the only thing that saved me was I got ganked and Nasus tried to dive me...he died and that was the only death in the lane for the entire game. Realizing what I had on my hands I bought wards to avoid another gank and just hard-shoved/pressured turret until I put it down. We were even in CS ffs, so I would argue in this one I was mostly outplayed other than his mistake diving me, yet we won this one because the other lanes did much better and after shoving him I roamed and managed to factor into fights for objectives sooner.

I have no idea how you can pressure him if he's freezing lane under turret with melee champs, other than to do everything you can to keep the wave from settling there in the first place. He has enough sustain to tank you up and heal and keep the wave in place, and you're gank bait there while he can stack Q. As a result I think you need to be really mindful with harass. If you draw too much minion aggro early on his minions will target yours, and as a result not attack your minions which will shove the wave, making it hard to pressure him. Try to limit this or get his AoE on your minions so you can get wave control and harass him without pushing too much pre-6. Nasus q stacking creeps in front of his own turret is worst case, do whatever you can to prevent it.

I've just played once vs Nasus who went 0/30/0 with full armor and mr runes. Good luck killing this dog. You need armor pen runes and jungler to towerdive him. IF jungler shows top, you will probably lose dragon and Nasus uses tp to farm under tower. You can towerdive him again, but this is delaying his powerspike 5-10 minutes. The only way you can stop a good Nasus is to have constantly pushed waves, so he can't backdoor and wreck his team the first 20 minutes, when he is still weak.

Roam and kill people while he's building stacks. The weakness of every Nasus is that they hate leaving lane at any point before 300+ stacks. It's okay to miss 12 CS for an opportunity to snowball your bot or midlane.

TP is essential to laning against Nasus. Use it to help your team and get back to lane without missing too much farm.

A lot about beating Nasus in a lane is about baiting out his ultimate and then retreating. Don't fight him with it on. Whack him repeatedly otherwise.

ive seen ignite wukongs lose lane to tp nasus... it's pretty annoying to see one of the best lane bullies get bullied by a champ with the worst laning phase, but meh.

the first thing is you need to bully nasus as hard as possible. this you know. the second is that you need to accept that unless ultra fed you cannot duel nasus after a certain point but he cannot instakill you yet. that is the time to push waves then join your team. do not stay top unless to defend turrets and push waves fast.

i generally will buy some mana potions on my first back just to harass the crap out of him with constant eq's and then is hes low enough ult if you have ignite pretty much

Make sure you all in at level 2. Run ignite and start long sword and pots. Take e at level 1 and e onto nasus every time it's off cool down. This will push the wave and hurt the enemy laner a lot, so unless they took flask or cloth, they end up at about half health. As soon as you hit level 2, e into the enemy and q him. Ignite and keep autoing him til he dies. If you kill him, push the wave and back. Try to rush a cleaver or brutalizer than merc treads are good too. You just have to win in team fights. Hope this helped. :)
