The Wonders of Trying Other Lanes (Ranked advice?)
What's gucci Summoners, Bronze V pro Hyper here with some stories for the bonfire. Are you a Support main? If the answer is yes then high @$%#ing-five because so am I. Now after about a month of playing ranked I've started to notice a trend in lower elo players (Thanks Season 4 and me not caring for ranked so my mmr is horrible) where... you can't feed them enough. Stars beyond I'll never understand how I can spoon feed my Cait or (smh) Ashe kills but they don't know what to do with all this power. (Why do people fly straight into ranked like it's simple? I'll never know but I digress.) As someone who calls "Supp pref" every game now you have on your shoulders that you can't trust anyone who calls adc pref because of how bad they are. What is the next possible step? Don't call fill, call a role you know that you know better then everyone else. Going into ranked you can't just know how to play one damn lane and I wish this was printed like a warning label on that "Play" button. By level 30 you should have had a strong grasp on every lane, maybe with some slouching on mid because you never wanted to touch assassins. Be sure to look at your team comp if you're last pick and depending on where your going assess the situation. Are you Top and if your team not looking too hot? Pick Nasus or Darius so you can snowball without your jg's help (As any top laner should be doing). Are you jg? imo don't go for tons of damage go for someone with slows and the power to hold people in their place such as Sejuani or Skarner. Ad carry and support speak for themselves and mid.... ehh again @%#$ assassins. My main point (which I may have gotten of track with) is if your not seeing hypercarries in other lanes, game after game after game, switch if up (Only if you are comfortable of course). If you've seen Garen go top 3 out of 5 games then go top and play a hardcore snowball champ. Eventually you will get to a point where your games will be skill based, they'll last for an hour not because your trying with your soul to hold on to your nexus, but because you and the enemy team are neck and neck with objectives. I've switched out of supporting for the time being and I'll probably get two people on this post who'll say "You should just stick to supporting if you're a support main" but there's other low Bronze players out there who can see where I'm coming from. Anyways I'm out.
