I'm really good at judging damage / outcome of a trade, which role should I main?

I'm what I would consider a balanced player, I enjoy playing all of the roles and honestly don't have a single "favorite" champion. I almost got into Gold last season but ended on a horrendous losing streak, at which point I stopped playing frequently. I'm still a little rusty but have already managed S5. I'm now having difficulties with the new meta, so I'd like to pick a role to main. What I would consider my biggest strength is my ability to accurately predict my damage output and the outcome of trades, even when I'm playing a new champ. Which role should I play? (If there is any other information that would be useful, comment and I'll respond / update the post.)

mid or adc, since it is pretty much 1v1 , except in bot lane 2v2 and even there if u have a capable partner and/or know the champions dmg output at a given level you will be golden!summoner 13

I would recommend top or mid. This is because you listed your main strengths as trading / knowing your damage.

Mid / Top - You can get the most effectiveness out of your two strengths. If you can out-trade your opponent, this allows you the possibility to either kill greedy players, zone the opponent off of gold and possibly experience, and really punish players who are not used to that role or stay around far too long at a disadvantage.

Bottom lane - I think you should stay away from here. If your main strength relies on your ability to make judgement calls AND you plan to play solo you are handicapping yourself by adding another person. If you go for a trade and your partner sticks too long, that good trade just turned into a horrendous play. Then you are on the back foot. If your really good at micro-ing trades and maximizing their potential, you probably don't want to muddle up your results by throwing in extra random factors in the form of a random lane-mate. If you really liked playing bot lane a ton, then you could work there with those skills sure. If you do have a duo partner and want to specialize in bot lane, then you will have to practice coordination skills as well; which will trump one persons trading skills.

Jungle - You don't get to trade with another player reliably in jungle. You are looking to take advantage of situations around the map. Once again, just not taking advantage of your strong skills.

If you really have a tendency towards one role or another, damage calculation and trading prowess will help you in any role, just top and mid allow you to maximize that.

Top for sure. Mid's have the ability to b frequently, defensively, as walking back to lane is fast/easy. Bot lane's very rarely a 1v1, and judging the damage of 4 champs is a little tricky. Top lane is often an island. If your opponent thinks they can win an all-in but you know you'll come out on top? You've crushed top lane.
