Contrary to pre-gold belief, there are times when you do NOT want to group.
These include:
1 Losing full team 5v5's
2 When you have
. Sometimes includes
3 When you can easily 1-3-1 objectives and take them.
However, if you are the adc, and are doing any damage at all, you should NOT be splitpushing, if you go to cs another lane, do not go alone and dont push it out much.
There are times where you don't want to group up as a full team, the most prominent being if there is someone on either team splitpushing and you need someone to stop the splitpusher.
However, there are some cases where you really should stay with your team. I had a majority of my games decided by a couple of my teammates farming the jungle while the rest of our team was trying to take objectives and stuff.
