Welcome to the ... jungle?

Good morning guys. Im still abit new to the game, came to this game after 5 years in HoN and i just hit 30. Im having abit trouble when im jungling, it feels like im always a step backwards then the other players, when i do try to gank, it's hard to not get spotten by the opposite team (warded/pushed) which causes me to lose even more time on my farming.

  1. What monsters are best to start farming? In what route? I usually start with the 2 rock monsters bottom or the fat toad if i am at the other team. (right side)

  2. Do you steal red/blue alone or with a teammate? How important is that? It feels abit stupid and unsafe to run into a black forest with no wards when you can get jumped quick.

  3. When is it clear that you should gank a lane? (depending on the champion of course) But what's a "common level" to gank a lane? 3-4?

  4. When do you buy boots? I've seen people running around without boots for ages, isnt it really important to have some mobility?

  5. Since the guides on LoL are completely useless, as i noticed: Is the mobility boots really recommended as; lets say Rammus jungle ?

  6. Trinkets favourites? Im guessing the lens to remove wards?

I've tried Warwick jungle once and it just went to hell, i was passive until level 6 and before that my team has already fed the team too much. It feels like you really has to be lucky or pick a unstable hero to win the jungle, or it's just me being too passive, i dunno.

and the golden question: What's your favourite champion to jungle with? Do you have any recommendations/builds?

Feed me knowledge. {{summoner:2}}

Repost from a thread below yours : you can come and hang out in my stream. I mainly stream in french, but if you let me know you are around, I could switch to english and explain what to do. Diamond III jungle main Vi Nocturne Trundle , lots of commentaries and since I have few viewers, I have time to answer lots of questions. All of my viewers told me they improved since they started watching. Enjoy! twitch.tv/alexdeth

  1. Generally, AD assassin/bruiser junglers start krugs->red buff, while tank/mage junglers start gromp->blue buff. If the enemy is a strong counterjungler, it might be a good idea to take the buff at level 1, but be sure to do this only when you have a decent leash.
  2. Stealing buff in the early game is generally risky unless your jungler's kit is built for counterjungling (mobility, good dueling, etc). But if you are, you can generally just go alone. Be sure that the enemy can't do anything while you steal their buff, though.
  3. Generally 3-4 is a good time to make your first gank. There are exceptions, of course. Some junglers would just prefer farming, while some junglers would start ganking at level 2, right after taking red buff. Most importantly, it's not about what level you are to start ganking. It's more about what impact you can make.
  4. Honestly, depends on the champion and how the game goes. Rek'Sai doesn't need boots until later because she gets free 20 MS while burrowed, but Nautilus may want some boots early on.
  5. Boots of mobility can be worth if you plan to gank a lot and farm little. Be sure to not get cinderhulk/sunfire cape if you're getting boots of mobility, since the MS boost gets cancelled very easily.
  6. It's more of a preference. Warding totem can help protect your buffs and see enemy jungler in advance, but sweeping lens can get you some easy kills on overextended enemies.

Whenever I jungle, I go in order depending on who I'm playing.

Bruisers: wolves, chickens, gank Tanks: wolves, chickens, krugs, gank Assasins: wolves, chickens, gank

As for my favorite jungler: Udyr
