Do not play Kindred as an ADC!
Now, of course, people would be concerned by the title and think, "well, why not? they're marksmen, and they're really mobile, so it should work, right?" ...Sadly, that's not really the case. It always irked me to see Kindred ADC's in the first place since they were designed as Marksman Junglers, but seeing one in action in PVP gave me more solid reason to detest it.
Here's the thing; Kindred has a lot of poking power at level 2 alone. Drop Wolf's Frenzy, and traipse around the lane with Dance of Arrows on a 2 second cooldown. No cons, right? Wrong. Poking, like a lot of things, requires moderation. If you poke too hard, you'll wind up with your enemies pushed at the turret, giving the Jungler or Middle laner a clear incentive to tell you what you messed up and why. You'll get told, in gank form, to back off. Poke your opponents to the turret with that 2 second cooldown three-target multishot dash, and you give your opponent too much room to retaliate and practically invite destruction on your lane before you hit 6.
Now, this is where my point gets a little muddy, because this may not be the case for all teams, but, keep it in mind; Once your lane gets ganked successfully, people'll start to register you as easy pickings for gold and experience. If their lane's doing fine or rough, they can just pop down to bottom lane and either bully you away from your minions, or...Straight-up kill you and force down your turret. Once you lose that first gank, you're dead meat.
Of course, there's some plus side to playing Kindred bottom lane. You get easy access to Krugs/Gromp and Scuttlecrab, you can contest Dragon quicker, and you've only got 2(+1) targets for your Mark of the Kindred, plus mobility only matched by Kalista. Fifty-fifty chance to overstep and lose your lane, fifty-fifty chance to do violent splendor instead. Is it worth it to choose them?
...Still, no. You have to take into consideration the following; your Jungler and your opponents Jungler will be at fair contest for all of the creeps in the jungle, especially the Scuttle Crab once the early game closes. And the minimap marker for your Mark of the Kindred doesn't disappear as soon as the monster minimap marker does, so if they already killed the Scuttle Crab and Wolf happened to be hungry for it...You wouldn't know until you walked into the Dragon Trench just as the enemy team scored the kill and set sights on you.
And, Jungle contest isn't my only counterpoint to playing Kindred, either. Even if you manage to get a couple stacks off of Jungle camps, you still have one noteworthy necessity to gain stacks off of, especially once you hit six of them. Champions. What's wrong with that? Well, If you're playing Kindred ADC, and say, you throw Mark of the Kindred on the Support? They'll know to keep their distance and poke you. Just by trying to emphasize dominance with Mark of the Kindred, you wind up opening yourself up to attack. The ADC knows you're at risk of losing power if you can't kill their Support, so they might attack more aggressively, forcing you out of lane or killing you before you can kill their ally.
And, if you try to mark the Jungler...They'll figure out a way to screw you. There's no winning that fight.
Thoughts and counterpoints are appreciated, just keep in mind that I'm adamant with my own. Take it with a grain of salt.
