Looking for advice and/or a duo partner to gold.

Hello friends of the league of legends community, I am looking for advice on what to do to crawl out from where I'm at in silver.. A little background on my account, my platinum friend was the one who started me on this game, so when i played i did so a lot with him.. i feel this might have screwed me over for matchmaking, as i feel my opponents gravely outskill my team.. I tend to do exceptionally well early game, only to realize that both other lanes are fed out of their mind, and we end up getting dominated. When i play jungle, teams tend to not help on ganks, instead farming while I engage, and while laning the jungle seems to afk farm in the jungle a lot, and doesn't contribute to the team when we need them too.. Dont get me wrong I'm not one of those players who blames everyone but themselves, there are many times i've caught myself doing something stupid, or getting caught out, or forgetting to drop a ward, However i feel the team that I am usually paired with is the largest cause of the loss.

Personal information, in order of best to worst roles Top>Jungle>Adc>Mid>Support Some of my favorite champions to play: Top: Darius, Fiora, Vlad ADC: Twitch, Caitlin, Mid: Malzahar, Katarina Jungle: Vi, Yi, Jax, Olaf, and I am starting to play rek'sai a bit more often. Support: Braum is who im best at actually supporting with, I am exceptionally good with sona, however i usually end up with double digit kills and single digit assists due to her MASSIVE damage poke and the adc never going in when i ask them too.

advice im looking for is how to carry a 5s game best champions to do so with (even if i need to learn a couple) Best role to carry in?

and if you feel like duoing id be really grateful for it, although I would appreciate a skilled gold duo partner vs a current silver, however im not totally opposed to crawling up to gold with a silver of equal skill and rank.
