Please stop raging on this board

Look, I come to this board for the Tips and Tricks not to hear how you strongly disprove of the new players and their "incompetence". There is a learning curve to this game and in some cases/champions it can be a steep one. I spend about 2 hours a day reading this board looking for something that could help me improve my game so I can be a better help to the team. It is NOT for you to rage and flame the new players.

I understand the frustration. I got the same way when I was playing Call of Duty. I'm not a pro gamer and I never had the inclination (or skill) to become one but I hated losing. I also had this self importance when I started to get skilled at it and thought that other people I got matched with would know how to play the game as well if not better than me. Turns out it wasn't the case and I got mad at the other players for not taking the objectives in those game modes or provided cover when I needed it to take the objective. After a while, I found out the best way to deal with that ego and that was to lighten up and understand that some of these other players, whether they be new or seasoned, either didn't know how to play the game or just weren't as good as the average player and that's OK.

The point I'm trying to make is that when you rage on this specific board it hurts the players that are truly trying to improve by making it difficult to spot a helpful post. For instance there was a post just yesterday titled "what is peel? idk". All it amounted to however, was some lvl 30 guy complaining about how the newer players didn't know how to peel and he wanted Riot to do something about it. I can assure you that the new players who are trying to be an asset to the team are looking for the info to improve. Riot has provided some helpful tips in a sticky at the top as well as some other helpful sites that people can go to and we do use them. Just because we suck in a normal game doesn't mean that we are not trying or not learning. You lvl 30's were once noobs too and I appreciate the ones who try to help the new noobs. However, if you're intent is to rage without providing any useful info on how to improve (a case can be made if someone is trying to help but isn't exactly nice about it, i.e. a drill instructor/sergeant) then you're not only wasting our time but also your breath. When someone is toxic and a complainer, your voice will fall on deaf ears and you will be in a worse spot than you were before. Just stop and think about it. If you still feel the need to get it off your chest, take it to General discussion or even Miscellaneous, not here.

I come to the boards to eat popcorn and watch people rage over silly things.

A rage post about rage posts. @Im neurotoxin, sure looks like you're doing a good job helping to solve the problem ;)

Yeah... 99% of the WHOLE board is rage, and it always has been. The community is toxic. Don't expect to see much difference time soon sadly.

Yeah I agree with @Kirugo. I come here to provide any knowledge I can for new players - especially if it's about a champ/role I know a lot about. Even people that rage can be reasoned with, and sometimes all it takes is for someone to explain some of the things they could be doing wrong.
