in teamfight never just never use your blue card unless you got no mana prioritise gold card it's a point and click 2 second stun with quiet good damage the red card is mostly for cleaning after teamfight like there's 3/4 enemies who try to get away then use it. i mained tf from lvl 6 maybe till now stopped picking him in ranked though but he's still fun to play if there isn't 4 tank building mr
I love TF but honestly in the current meta he's just not that good, but I can try to give some tips
NEVER try to straight up duel your laning opponent. You can zone them with your PaC but that's just it. Fate basically has no matchup he can win. Every other champion stomps him especially assassins which are crazy popular now
Remember, you are immobile as crap. Having your gold card doesn't mean you can go chasing stupid things. Once you get yourself into a mess you can't get out without wasting something valuable
Do not ult back to lane unless there's a legit reason to..please oh god don't ult back to lane people will instantly flame you for doing something so..level 7-ish
Whenever you're trying to zone someone when your card has about a second left on it and you have no way to hit it on them back off instead of continuing to zone. Once that card goes down a zed/leblanc/kata etc. will jump on you and punish you insanely hard.
His base stats are pretty bad..but he scales crazy good into late game. That's where you want to make it to
6)By level 6 you should AT LEAST have sheen or going back to buy it. Push your lane with red cards. Then keep your eyes open on the map to where you start making your plays. Ult into a lane that needs the help and gank for people. Also they made it so you have to select your card before landing to get off an efficent gank.
Gold card is the main thing you want to use in a teamfight. Fates late game damage is crazy good Stun the closes person to you. Your range is very small so don't go diving into the team just to stun the carry. You have it on a pretty low cd so don't worry too much about its cd. Use your Q as a follow up if you aim it properly you will chunk tons of hp off anybody hit.
Red card is mainly for pushing waves/cleaning up enemies or for when you have the AoE deal going on. If you see a raka/jinx next to each other use the red card and hit them both while slowing them. Then Q them.
For maximum efficiency try to get your stacked deck up before selecting a card to zone with. If you manage to get off stacked deck + blue card you'll chunk a ton of hp from your opponent. Especially after you get sheen/lich. (which is a core item on him btw)
10)
this is typically my build when I play him. Though I ludens is just a fun item for me it's probably better to get a GA or banshee or something.
12)Someone like Kata you HAVE to beat pre-6 or at least assert your dominance and keep ahead of her. Otherwise post 6 she will stomp your face in unless you play passively ofc then she'll just roam in which you beat her at that
Syndra just flat out rapes you. If you see someone pick her into you just dodge..lane swap. Lose every cs and wait for jungler help/late game.
This is sorta repeating myself, but, Fate has lanes he either survives or loses. There is no lane he can win (unless your opponent is just dumb) so keep that in mind when playing him
Hope that helps. Twisted Fate is one of my fav champs and also the first one I've ever gotten a penta kill on
I would recommend checking out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1klKGlgrCYw
It was made by a Diamond mid laner, he knows a lot about our favorite card player.
If you have more questions on build after checking out this video, there are a myriad of websites that will help. You can check out Lolskill.net just select a champion, it will bring up the best players with that champion, and you can click on their profiles and look at match history, that will have their recent games and the builds that they use.
If you still want more info, select a summoner from Lolskill.net, and enter the name into Lolking.net they have a bigger match history to choose from.
I hope this helps! :)
The best skill a TF can master is MAP AWARENESS. Your ulti is super OP in the hands of the right person you can turn the tide with counterganks and teamfights. his ulti could also be used to scare the enemy from initiating if use at the right time (usually when they are right about to go in).
***Ex. Bot lane is in a 2v2 where both your adc's low and they are going in for the kill you could easily ulti down there and win the fight.
CSing is core on TF as he needs items to do damage, but he is super bursty with items (try out Lichbane>Luden's>Zhonya's). In teamfights I usually pull out yellow cards on enemies that are jumping on me and I rarely use the other two in teamfights. My approach in teamfights is Yellow>Q>get out of range as you are ranged with a q that is extremely low CD and long range>Repeat.
do you get morello on tf?
