Hi there, so Ive never posted on any lol forum or board before but I am simply at a loss. Long story short, about three weeks ago I moved and was able to play semi-consistently (usually every day at least once) for the first time with relatively stable internet (both new to me!) I quickly moved up the ranked ladder from like silver 3 to gold 2 in the past 2-3 weeks. Promos were super easy, everything was easy. I hit gold 2 and everything was still super easy, climbed to almost my promos and then i just started losing.. and losing and losing and losing. I dont know wtf is going on. I have lost 19/24 games and its absolutely horrible. After losing like 9 games out of 10 I was completely on tilt, raging etc.. which I know was bad but honestly the games I lost at the beginning were complete bs .I know that I have thrown a few games since then, but I have taken time off between games but it is no use. Somewhow literally every game is complete crap. I was just wondering if anyone ever had a streak as bad as this, check my history if you don't believe me.

Also, no, gold 2 isn't out of my league. last season was my first and i only played ranked for like 2-3 months and climbed to gold 1 before it ended. I

Here is a couple things i've noticed.

First, you hardly ever upgrade your trinket, you should do that.

Second, you hardly ever buy wards. Even when I play ADC, I buy wards. Wards are important no matter what role you play.

Third, you're dying more than you need to be. Don't die for silly things.

Fourth, your champion variety is too much, I don't know what you main. Support? While counters are good, you should play champions you are familiar with. Main a role and stick with it, you'll climb much easier.

Just my two cents.

Disclaimer- I'm not amazing, but these are just my observations.

Everyone has a winning/losing streak. Don't take it too hard now. I'm nowhere near playing ranked games, but I know the feeling. This one platinum guy told me he had a continuous losing streak for over fifty games once and over a thousand losses under his belt. It happens :] If you keep going like this, (judging from my own experience) do yourself a favor take a nice long breather. Heck, pound on some bots if it'll help you feel better. That's what I do. If you keep going back and the streak continues, it's really gonna affect you. You've had a few bad draws, now it's time to leave the table and wait for a fresh deck to be played (i tend to play cards so analogies lol). It'll change, I'm sure of it! Chin up, mate!

Best tip I can give you: work on not tilting. One of the reasons I perform well consistently in my games for the most part is because in spite of the situation or how many bad games I've had that day, I don't let my frustration and bitterness control the effort I'm putting forth.

I see a lot of people go into matches after losing two or three games (or more) really hard, in addition to perhaps losing lane and giving up a lot of kills to the enemy team in each of them, and it's at this point that people tend to start playing gradually worse.

It's usually a good idea at this point to take a break. But if the losses are continuing over a long period of time, then consider your own role in them first, and then deliberate on what to do about it. I find that sometimes I'm not in the right emotional state to be playing League, and avoid playing ranked games as a result. Try to intentionally play a normal or two to get a feeling of how well you'll perform and whether you're on tilt, and then proceed to move to ranked when you know you're ready for the pressure.

I can't really give protips because I'm not a high elo player, but if I've learned anything, it's this. Don't be intimidated by your enemies. Also, don't rage. Or at least try not to directly rage at your teammates. That ruins their gameplay, no matter how justified it may seem. They get nervous every time they mess up because of the rager. And the more nervous they get, the more afraid they get, so they end up not doing well. Also, don't let the enemies lower your morale. Don't fuck around, but treat every game like a bot game, in the sense that you never join a game expecting to lose. Don't take that too literally, though.

Last season fell from plat promos 2-2 to G5 in under a week. I quit ranked for 2 months after that.
