I am bloody sick and god damn tired of losing in ranked. I currently have a 30% ranked win rate, and I placed in silver 2, and now I'm in silver 5, -3 LP. How do I get out of this place? Often times, supports don't even buy sightstone. I am so sick and tired of this. Is there any way I can climb up to Gold? Or am I doomed? I admit I am not a very good player. But I don't feed every single god damn game I play. How am I ALWAYS LOSING RANKED? It seems like the other team always gets carried, and NEVER me. I'd really like to get to Gold. Do you guys have tips for climbing? Wherever I go, I seem to lose EVERY GAME. I am not going to blame everything on my teammates, but it seems like I always have the feeders/DCs on MY TEAM, and the OTHER TEAM always has the challenjour smurfs. I looked into coaching before, but it's kind of expensive, as I'm 15 and I don't have a job yet. Plus, coaching isn't guaranteed to get me out.

TLDR: Placed in s2, now in s5, how do I get out of here?

You have a 30% winrate so you really can't blame your team for every single loss you have.

I guess without seeing you play you can start by playing safer champions, being aware of the map, practicing your farm and by UPGRADING YOUR TRINKET.

It's your own fault for rushing into ranked without enough experience. Your CS varies from not good to terrible. You die more than you should. Your builds are pretty fine- nothing too troll, though I'd be curious if you utilize them properly. I imagine a lot of your trouble comes from not knowing how to interact with your opponents and positioning, which is really only something you can learn through practice. I'd recommend going back to normals full time.

Make sure you always upgrade your trinket, too. I like to consider it part of my core. First item->boots->trinket+homeguards->2nd item

This isn't a game where you become diamond the next day. Overtime you adapt to new playstyles and learn the game and improve as you go. I joined in 2013 so it's been 3 seasons since I Started in season 3. After that many years and playing more than 10 hours+ a day, I'm now Plat 2, but i've been to diamond promos many times but still haven't been able to pass it. Fact is after reading guides, youtube videos, watching pros etc you improve naturally cause you pickup advice /tips etc.

Gotta have the sweet sweet map awareness, I looked up ur wardscore and it's pretty low:

  • Update your trinket as soon as you hit lvl 9 and have the gold; it will double your ward output.
  • Also, getting a sweeper as soon as you get a sightstone is generally a better idea then waiting to upgrade yr trinket to a pink; the sweeper has a shorter cool down thus allowing you to clear bushes more often and sweep for champs like Twitch, Vayne, and Rengar.
  • Actually ward. Constantly. Vision is your lifeline.
  • Try doubling the number of wards you get out in a game no matter what position you are in.
  • vision wards!!! are not usless. They're rly fun to put in the enemy jungle by buffs also on drag/baron; the enemy jungler will generally stop to destroy these and buy you more time to get ready for their gank.
  • cackle after you deep ward.
  • ward tho
  • a lot

Janna specific advice:

  • Try putting points into the offense table rather then the defense table with masteries; Janna specializes in _disengage _above anything else and the more you can capitalize on that the better.
  • Also speed.
  • Boots. are very variable on Janna b/c of the passive on her W. Merc treads, boots of Swiftness, or Ninja Tabi are great choices on her.

D.S.T and Manipulative shit

A piece of... sort of dirty advice: Supports tend to have higher then average MMR b/c of kda, which means we have better MMR gains and losses. If you like support and have high tolerance for bullshit and confidence in your abilities, it's not a bad thing to main in ranked.

I'm going to give you more in depth advice but sadly i can only give it from the perspective of the Support/Jungler. Starting this season season i was placed in gold 4, I've played 180 ranked matches with 140+ as support. with roughly 20 being jungler and the other 20 matches being split between the remaining roles. I'm now Plat 2 I tell you this because it shows that even the most looked down role for being able to carry games can still have a positive win rate and have a large effect on the game.

Most of these games are actually solo queue though i certainly do recommend finding a good friend that is of similar skill level that doesn't play your roles is a boon to your winrate - sadly you may only want to play with positive people as negative/ragey friends can make the team play worse and even surrender a game that can be won.

Talking of surrender, never ever surrender a rank game I've won a 3 v 5 with the enemy team not knowing our situation and they surrendered and who knows the enemy team may get internet issues, may mess up a baron, may get wiped in a late team fight next to their base - the game isn't over until your nexus is in shards.

I think it's a lot more beneficial for you to decide on 3 roles that you wish to main and then practicing every different aspect of those roles whether it be CSing to ganking. Also to avoid roles that your poor in is another way of saving your ass from a terrible game.

Additionally you should go for selfish picks I know Janna is extremely powerful at the moment with every spell being a disengage however she relies on her team rather heavily and if your team aren't up to scratch then you no matter what you do you will probably end up with defeat. To counter this I really have to recommend Leona and Blitz these two supports can catch people out of position (this is commonplace even in plat) And make a hard to win 5 vs 5 into a rather easy 4 vs 5.

A good piece of advise is to find what the meta is - who is strong and who is not, and then out of the strong ones find the ones you prefer to play most - remember to also look at ban percentages lets face it if you want to play Elise you have to deal with an 80% ban rate which means it's unfeasible to even try to learn her.

If you're picking Jungler it's best to go for an early ganking champion something like Udyr/Xin/Shyvana rather than one that relies heavily on hitting 6 first e.g Amumu/warwick because you can guarantee that at least one of your lanes will lose and not know how to play defensively we've all been there.

Now for some advice for supporting, Always rush the sightstone and once you get the sightstone switch to sweeper. A really good way of remembering to do this is in item sets usually you only need to put the first part of your build in as late game depends on what occurs during the match.

Some people tell you to buy vision wards - you should only do so if you are WINNING, if you are losing your lane/cannot protect the pink wards do not even bother putting them down. It just creates an objective that you want to protect and if you aren't able to protect it your team technically lose 130 gold and worse case scenario if you do try to defend it and die you set your team back even further. The only good reason to put it down while your losing is to use it as bait when your jungler is nearby this is especially effective when their support is melee.

My next advise is pretty bad because everyone knows it but some people just really don't heed it. Don't die, death is a huge setback to your team, I've seen so many cocky ADC's run about with 200 hp in lane against a poke set up bot lane and die because they thought they could juke every skill shot it's better to recall and miss 10 CS than it is to die and miss 9 CS.

The second last advise I have is form it may sound ridiculous but form carries from game to game, if you had a horrendous game that has made you angry and frustrated I recommend not to play another ranked until you have cooled off but the opposite holds true, if you've had a good game you usually bring that positivity into the next game.

Sorry for the long read, and basic advise but only other thing i can tell you is practice, it takes a while but when you've played enough games you can eventually gauge your strength vs the enemies and should always be able to make decisions according to this.

You have build priority issues as an ADC. You are lossing as an ADC and you still do not bother getting tier 2 boots after 2 major items.

You are playing champs with non optimal rune pages. If you were a better player this would not be an issue, but as you admit you are not. Generic rune pages are fine for normals; aka having fun.

You have a support jana game with a relic shield. Why not banner of command? I really do not want to hear your response that was rhetorical.

Conclusion You seem to lack understanding of when and where to build, and seem to do by formula. You got lucky placing in high sliver and are dropping to where you belong. You seem to be a bronze/silver player.

Map awareness, play making, etc. I had this issue when I was placed in s4 my first season playing. If you don't turn your attitude into one of improving you're going to end up in b5. I know because I did the same thing.

I had about 5 paragraphs written but honestly it probably won't do much. It's hard to explain how to improve when nobody here can see your mistakes r the opportunities in a game. I'll leave a little bit.

You need to approach the game by NOT being cocky, but at the same time, have the mentality of "My allies are Silver, and I'm Gold; I can carry them." I know that sounds pretty bad, but the truth is, you can't rely on anyone in this ELO. They just make the most abysmal mistakes to throw the lead. You want to be Gold? Play like a Gold among Silver, or it'll be pure RNG until you get better.

Incidentally, the next thing is vision control. I checked your wardscore, and it's in the 500s. That's poor, and it absolutely destroys your team's objective control, you're going to get far less picks and you're going to get caught out more. Your team WILL NOT ward very much, and they WILL NOT use vision properly. They ward because high ELO players rant about how important it is without realizing how to abuse its value. Let me explain. See the enemy jungler is clearing their wraiths then headed up towards golems? Well guess what. That dragon is looking pretty free right now, and that pink ward you have in your inventory is looking awfully friendly. Throw that down in the dragon pit and if it's clear, call for dragon. Your allies aren't going to know to do this, but YOU can. Also, if your Top laner is paying attention, (s)he should know they can expect a gank within the next 60 seconds and to not shove lane and overextend. Again, they won't realize this, so tell them that fact. Might deny 450 gold the enemy team would've otherwise gotten.

That was meant to be ONE example and I didn't do this on purpose, but warding really is that damn powerful, SPECIFICALLY when done and abused properly. Look at all the benefits. You 1. Stopped a gank, 2. Denied enemy vision of southern river, 3. Get a free dragon and 4. Now control vision over southern river which can then stop a gank/objective attempt/counterjungling attempt from happening in the future. THAT is why it is important, but your allies may not abuse it properly. This is why the responsibility falls onto YOU, as a Gold player, to outshine your Silver allies and Silver enemies. YOU are armed with more game knowledge, superior mechanics and better decision making, and therefore you will win more games in this ELO than you'll lose.

The rest I wrote is just too relative to the game, and explaining all the game knowledge in League would take hours, but that's at least one thing critically missing in Silver. Proper decision making and game control.

You can start by playing support. Then the support will have sightstone.

You have good winrate playing Janna. Maybe play her more...
