Tips and tricks for being aggressive in lane (esp bot)?

Actually I used to main support, and I was aggressive because:

  1. I knew we would live because I would back my ADC and me up.
  2. I warded the river so that I could see if the enemy jungler was coming. Then I had some really ugly 6 losing streaks and sent me from 100 LP to 29 LP. So I decided to play ADC because why not. My last game, I was playing Tristana in Solo Q and I was so passive my support was flaming at me. I guess I sound like I'm blaming my support, but I do not want to go aggressive (even though I was laning against an early game Vayne) because:
  3. My trinket was on CD. Enemy jungler was MIA.
  4. My support, Braum, didn't have a direct CC. I know he's good in teamfights, but still. TBH, I'd prefer Leona or Nami or Thresh or something like that.
  5. I was not willing to trade 1 for 1. I doubted that my support would back me up too. Unless I'm playing Jinx (get excited passive!), I won't go HAM. I knew I would go 4/0/0 if I went aggressive. I'm playing like such a pussy because I knew one mistake would cost me 15 LP. So any tips and tricks for being aggressive in lane (especially bot)? Thanks.

Maybe should I play a lane bully? But lately, I've been playing Lucian. I played Corki but I just couldn't play him well. I wanted to play Draven but it seems like 10/10 difficulty...

lane aggression you need to look at 2 things location of YOUR jungler... if he is close by, you can hope hes not stupid and save you for whatever reason their cooldowns... they already used a key skill, you can be more aggressive on them till it comes back up

there are probably more factors than that, but these 2 are nice

Just hit Vayne with an E every time you can and focus on farming. You can pretty much poke her down for free, and when she's decently chunked if she makes a mistake then go for a kill.

And try to shove the wave as little as possible, you want to keep it as close to your side as you can. I know it's almost impossible with trist but make an effort.

TBH I just don't think trist is that great of a champ anymore, she takes way too long to ramp up. I'm not sure why but seems like most games are only lasting like 25-35 minutes these days, and 35-40 is when trist usually starts to get strong.

One of the biggest factors I take in mind is "Who could do the most damage in a short period of time". Know that Cait is great at poking at people, but terrible at all ins. Put her in a to-the-death fight against a graves/corki/vayne/etc, and shes going to die. Also consider their escape options, and available SSs
