Another Bronze topic

I began playing league around September this year, around November I hit Lv 30 and was placed in Gold 5 for the pre-season. I definitely didn't carry Gold but I did well enough to be competent.

This season I went 3-7 in Placements and got Bronze 3. I figured it wouldn't be too difficult to get out, but I was certainly wrong. I've made it to qualification matches 3 times and haven't won 2/3 yet. I main Leblanc mid and almost always win my lane. For example, yesterday I played vs. an Orianna, ended 29/3 (I know that's nothing considering it's bronze) and we still almost lost the game. Today I went 7/0 and then with my teams throws landed 10/10 (we lost), then hit 19/9 the next game and we still lost. I understand I am mentioning KDA a lot but I feel like that gives you (the reader) an easy way to grasp that I won lane. Now I try and take charge, send commands/offer advice to my teammates to get objectives, ward, and keep my jungler updated on drag. I also understand Leblanc has great split push potential so if I ever see an opening I'll push a lane and then, usually, easily escape. Honestly though I don't understand why but even after we win team fights my teammates will for example, instead of taking the objective, go grab blue. It makes no sense and no matter how much I ask they ignore. Of course I'll try and get the tower myself but Leblanc especially deals very low damage with her AA's.

Although this may seem like a rant, honestly I just want your advice. One aspect in the game I know I'm certainly lacking in is my creep, but if fed that shouldn't be as big of a deal. Do you guys recommend a different champion that I should use to carry? I try and roam but instead usually try and push turret and then go around. Anything you could suggest would be appreciated. Thanks

Roam. You can kill mid lane 20 times in 10 minutes, it doesn't matter. If your fed, snowball other lanes. Counter jungle. Set up dragons. Make an impact.

If your fed and don't push the advantage, your effectively just throwing your lead away completely. If your fed and push the advantage, you'll take objectives and win the game.

One aspect in the game I know I'm certainly lacking in is my creep, but if fed that shouldn't be as big of a deal.

Improve your creep score, never rely on kills. If you're behind 40 cs but ahead by two kills, you're even. Learn to use autoattacks early game to farm (seen so many people rely on spells).

Don't push tower early, push your wave but don't auto the tower early in the game. That's just putting up a sign that says "gank me." If you really want to, however, make sure you're buying wards to prevent those ganks then. Yes, I said buy wards. Always buy wards when there's fog of war around you. Even if you're a carry.

If your teammates are getting their priorities skewed, try to be a leader. Give them kills to. Get them fed. One game I played Vi, ganked top 3-4 minutes in, and made it OBVIOUS that I gave Volibear first blood instead of taking it myself. Suffice to say, he always listened when I ganked his lane, and eventually the rest of team allowed (I didn't force them to) me to prioritize certain objectives so they wouldn't get tunnel vision.

However, in another game my team made one mistake you can take from. I attempted to solo dragon and told them so, but they accidentally let an ongoing teamfight toward me and I ended up trapped in the pit because they were baited by a low-health Riven. Yes, four of them chased a low health Riven in the OPPOSITE direction of the Dragon pit, so I died to four enemies. I briefly chastised them for it, but they admitted their mistake and I gave them advice for next time, and we moved on to win.

Now, what you can take from this:

  1. Don't get thirsty. A kill doesn't mean much if you die too. If you do'nt take that risk and let them escape, you have time to do something while they're at base (farming to get ahead, recalling to buy items, ganking another lane, taking the tower/objectives/etc).

  2. If someone is isolated but have their stuff warded, don't lead a fight toward them unless you know they're ready for it. Ping and shit, don't let them get caught out by lack of communication.

  3. Don't nag teammates if they make mistakes. Give them advice and move on. The one rule of the blame game is that everybody loses. Be the bigger champion and let it go like Elsa.

instead of LB, if you could play talon or zed, and go for towers and split push, you might find it easier. if anyone tries to stop you, you kill them. if 3 try, then you should manage to get away if skilled enough and your team will be pressuring.

Ok here's what leblanc is missing which makes it hard to carry a bronze game. She's not great at taking objective by herself... so you gave an example your team won a team fight then they just wandered off. If you played someone who could solo a tower you'd easily be closing out these games by yourself.

Since you're clearly good with assassins maybe you should try zed, he's like the AD version of leblanc and AD champs tend to be better at taking towers.
