not sure where to put this since there isn't a new player help board that I've seen. I'd just like some tips or something on how to jungle. like.. how do you sneak up on one or two people if they have vision of you with a ward? especially if you're not someone like lee sin who literally bounces all over the place before you have time to blink

well if you know where its warded... sneaking up on them is simply not going anywhere near that ward, its a really simple idea ;l

Some times, certain champs just can't do it If wards were so easily circumvented, why ward at all?

well when you're jungling you only have a couple ways to go about sneaking up on them, and if all routs have eyes(wards) then..? and Idk why, but you seem knowledgeable so maybe you could tell me what you'd do if you're jungling and the enemy team has a hard on for wards?

I aminly play either a gank-heavy jungle (Nocturne or Nautilus), or else powerfarm and try to carry late game (DrMundo or Amumu), so my advice might not be applicable in all situations, but here's what I've got: item 3341 is a jungler's best friend. You can remove wards whenever, but you don't have to gank every time you do. If you build a sightstone you can drop a ward there and come back when they go to re-ward the same bush. If that doesn't help you sneak up enough, then remember to smite the raptors. They have the best jungle passive for ganking, as they let you remove another ward for free.

item 3706 is the best jungle item for ganking (the slow is getting nerfed in the next patch, so I don't know if it will stay that way). It helps you catch out enemies and keep them there, often forcing them to burn a flash (which qualifies as a successful gank in my book)

Finally, remember that all ganks require your lane buddy's help. Never gank a losing lane (gank a lane that's ahead to snowball it), and try to gank only when the lane is pushed against your turret. If you can't gank a lane, you can always try pushing and taking a turret (remember to ward first!) Happy jungling!

Play Evelynn or Shaco and not worry about wards anymore xD The buffs in the next couple days will help evelynn a bit, but both of those champs require a little of finesse and practice to be proficient at.

Here are a couple of youtube channels you should check out if you have the time. Jungling is probably the most complex role in the game, so It will be kinda hard to get all the information you need in a forum post. One of these links is to a 2 part video series where each one is an hour long. Its quite a bit to sit through, but it is filled to the brim with info so I would highly recommend viewing it. the other 2 are high ranked jungle mains who release a lot of informative videos. In case the links don't work the they are to Foxdroplol, Pants are Dragon, and ScrapComputer's VERY DETAILED jungle guide. One more thing. This post should probably be in the tips and tricks area of the boards.

Jungle is a difficult role for many people because its emphasis is on the strategic aspect of League instead of the mechanical aspect. When you're laning, you're really only concerned with the mechanics of your champ, last-hitting, harassing, etc. In the jungle, mechanics are an afterthought (i.e. learn the correct skill timings to clear camps, lather, rinse, repeat), but decision-making is integral to your success. You need to be watching the minimap so you can plan your jungle-clearing path to end up in a lane that's ready for a gank. You'll have to choose which lane will benefit the team most from your help when all your lanes are doing poorly. You'll need to use your Smite wisely so it's earning you the camp buffs when you need them, and time it so that it's available when your team is taking Dragon or Baron. You have to pay close attention to your teammates pings and chats so you know what's warded, who's in or out of a lane at any given time, and who's in most dire need of your help. And that's just a basic summary.

Since you specifically asked about wards, I'll offer some basic advice. In short, don't worry about them. Just plan your clearing route to put you near a lane that's pushed, and go in for a gank. Even if the bush is warded, try to gank anyway. People tunnel-vision ALL THE TIME... just because they put wards in the river and the tri-bush doesn't mean they're paying attention to their minimap to see you passing by the wards. As other posters mentioned above, the Sweeping Lens and the Smite buff from the Raptor camp are both great tools for avoiding wards. The Sweeper not only reveals wards, but disables their vision so you can freely pass over them to gank. The Raptor buff will alert you with a bright pink light when you've been spotted by a ward, so if you've got the buff and you go to gank and no pink lightbulb appears above your head, that means the enemy team CANNOT see you.
