Common noob mistakes

Here's what I learned from playing this game so far. If team getting beat, don't split push. You won't accomplish much in the end and your team can better use you grouped in defense. Never split push if you're an apc or adc, a few can do it like maybe twitch but most will just get blown up and are of better use backing up their tank and support. Unless they are very low hp or your jungler is ganking, don't duel the enemy in amongst their minions early game. Grouping wins games! The pros know this and travel as a pack. Wait for your teammates, then push. If you are support, friggin buy at least a sightstone and ward, especially if your team is tied or getting beat. Mid game, there should be 4 of you traveling around as a group and sometimes 5, such as if your team has been getting its butt kicked and enemy is pushing hard. The 5th champ can split push if game is tied or you are winning. The split pusher is usually an assassin like yi that has a good escape like hyper speed, or a good dash, or invisibility. They also have good damage to take down turrets and minion waves. The assassin also cleans up the minion waves that are pushing lanes that aren't the one your team is focused on pushing. Assassins can enter group fights, but only after the fight has been going for little while and the enemy is missing half their HP. Assassins should go after dumb squishies that are on the map by themselves doing dumb things like split pushing. Complement the other team and they will honor you b/c it is such a rare thing to receive from the enemy. At first sign of a summoner giving you grief, mute them.

So if for example I am playing support and mid is getting crushed pretty bad in the first couple minutes, as a support at that time it is wise to go mid to help out? I don't know if this a stupid / noob question but I just need to know

just out of curiosity what if the problem IS teamfights for your team, you can win small bouts of 2-3 champs but once the enemy gets their 4th and 5th champs in there even with all your team behind you, you are still getting crushed, assassins are just like adc's very squishy once they are focused, and nine times outta ten you get jungles who have tunnel vision on one thing and ignore most of the map (talking to you master yi), then again the composition of your team is very likely to effect your game, if you don't have any ranged champions. well you get the idea
