So, I'm currently Gold I, almost got platinum, I'm currently maining Leona and Morgana supports. but I've had some problems with my builds recently. I don't know what and when to build it :/ I think I'm maybe building Frozen Heart in too many games and building Locket Solaris when only one ap assassin (not even AoE) is fed. I don't know if I should get Mikael's Crudible more often, I'm just not confident enough in my builds. I need help plz :3 Ty

if they have 2 ap's get locket 2 or more ad's get frozen heart

I usually go face of the mountain/mobs/ locket/rands/sightstone/frozen heart on Leona. crucible on Leona is stupid

For morgana Ill go the 2nd item in frost queen (I think the main item is shitty)/ mobs/locket/crucible (for hard cc for ur carry)/frozenheart and sometimes even a zhonyas

You should almost always get Mikaels on Morgana. Even if you don't use it to prevent CC it gives HP and cleanses dots. Zhonya's is a pretty important pickup on her as well. Not a bad idea to rush if your team is lacking hard engage.

On Leona I think it's better to build HP because her W gives a lot of resistances. Aegis is core unless they're all AD comp - remember that it gives regen in addition to the MR. Even if they have just 1 AP a lot of champions have small amounts of magic damage in their kit as well (ex: Shyvana). Build sightstone and face obviously, and once you have those 3 a Frozen Heart isn't bad.

Its really hard to tell you how to build because its really situational when it comes to support. You have to build according on how the game goes an who on your opponents team is a bigger threat. I'm going to use Leona as an example: of course your first trip to the shop is going to be a sightstone, sweeping trinket. Then you get tier 1 boots an upgrade support item. Next your going to upgrade your boots to either merc treads (ap is ahead), ninja tabi(mostly ad comp) or Mobi boots (roaming a lot) then you going to upgrade to face of the mountain. After that its pure situational. In most cases you will probably build into locket next. You can also go righteous glory or randuin omen. You can then go to frozen heart, sunfire cap, banshee. You can do iceborn gauntlets or frozen mallet or warmoggs.

Overall it depends on how the game goes, Send me a friend request in game and ill show you my Leona build structure in game later on. Maybe that might help. I can probably make a few builds for your favorite supports as well. We can take a look at mastery's and runes as well. Overall, after you have your core items down, its determined on the flow of the game on which items you should build an when to build them.

Generally you or the jungle should get locket/Banner as long as there is an AP threat, doesn't have to be an assassin, the AoE MR helps everyone. Crucible is nice if the carries are getting chained CC, if you can cleanse one of the CC you give them a chance to escape, also good with a Zed if your carries have not/do not appear to be building QSS (it happens sometimes, I do not know why).

But as is said by most of the posts below, it is entirely situation based. I would say think what does this item grant that another doesn't? Example frozen heart or randuins? CDR vs Slow. Personally I recommend Banner of Command alot, the mega cannon minion can create a surprising amount of pressure as you guys push another lane, especially if you are deciding around the time baron becomes a possible objective.
