There aren't really any combos that are specifically powerful on Ashe. Doing well with her is more about knowing when to use what and how to go about her mechanics to achieve maximum effect. She doesn't have any damage steroids or hops/dashes like other ADCs do, so she has little ability to dodge skillshots or make escapes outside of her insane kiting potential. The best advice I can give you is to settle for hard farming during the early game, and waiting for your opportunity to make an enemy pay for overextending to get to you.

Try not to spam her W early on. Volley is great for farming, but not so great for mana consumption. And on the note of mana consumption, get really good at keeping track of whether your Q is active or not, and make toggling it like second nature so you're only using it when you have to and you don't have to think about turning it on, you just do. Her E is an amazing scouting tool that can help her get ahead early on by giving her bonus gold for last hits, which is just plain nice. Her ult will turn the tide of a teamfight, but it's oh so easy to whiff it entirely.

Essentially you want to play safe for the first fifteen or twenty minutes of the game. Ashe's power doesn't come from a burst of damage, or her ability to outplay someone with fancy moves. It's pure and simple: she slows you, she keeps you from getting away or getting to her, and she kills you. The first and foremost thing to learn about her, aside from landing her ult, is to make sure you know how to orbwalk effectively. If you aren't familiar with the technique, the short version is waiting for your champion to go through enough of their attack animation for the projectile to fire and then canceling the frames after it, which aren't necessary, to start walking away sooner. This lets you keep moving more consistently than waiting for the full animation to finish. Combined with the slow from her Q it makes her one of the best kites in the game if you can master her orbwalking, which isn't too hard since she has a really smooth attack animation. There are PLENTY of guides to how it all works online you can look up, and it isn't something that can be explained beyond the theory; after that you just have to feel it with your champion of choice. I think Varus might be the easiest candidate to really get orbwalking down, as his passive helps his last hitting tremendously and he has a very visual cue on his attack animations with how his crossbow... arm... thing moves.

When laning, if you have an opportunity to use your passive to get a free crit on an enemy, it's a good way to deal some decent damage early on. Her Q and W, after you have a point in Q, can be powerful to punish enemies to go in a bit too hard, or if you have a Blitz/Thresh who can pull them to you to keep them way closer than they want to be. When someone dives, your first thought should be to fire a W to slow them down and to start walking backwards with your Q active, working on those orbwalking skills.

A neat tip to remember is that she can cast her Volley at any point without it interrupting her auto attack timers. It won't reset them, which would be great, but you can essentially fire an auto attack, then W, and that W will take up the time between your next auto attack on it's own so by the time you're finishing the Volley animation she's primed and ready for another auto. It's about the closest thing to a combo she has.

Get good with her ult. Really good. Learn to lead it way far ahead if you need to, try and make sure that you've already baited out your lane opponent's flash before you use it to secure an early kill, and be okay with firing it into teamfights and skirmishes on the other side of the map because even if you can't get there, your arrow sure can and you could make all the difference with that lengthy stun between a lost skirmish and a won fight, assists for yourself, and a taken turret or two.

Get good at keeping track of enemies, fleeing or chasing you, with your Hawkshot, practice landing your ult both offensively and defensively (i.e. when someone is stupid enough to turret dive you), and get your orbwalking perfect.

Remember that Ashe's true strength isn't in damage like other carries. It's her ability to single handedly turn an entire fight with a timely ult and by not letting anyone get away from her teammates with a quick volley and keeping them slowed way longer than they want to be. She's almost a support from how good of a job she does locking down an enemy team, or a single enemy champion. She's a team player, not a hyper carry, so make sure you play witht hat in mind.

Rush an Infinity Edge, then Berserker's Boots, and a Phantom Dancer. Whether or not it's technically as useful as a Static Shiv, it's giving her a LOT of mobility by letting her walk through minions which is what she needs since she lacks abilities to do that for her. A Bloodthirster for some lifesteal, then build what you feel you need to. A Last Whisper usually works pretty well here, and a Ruunan's Hurricane lets her slow three people at once with her Q active.

21/9/0 if you're worried about an aggressive enemy lane, 21/0/9 if you aren't and want the extra mana regen or MS in the utility tree. AD Quints, Armor Pen Runes, armor seals and mr/level or CDR glyphs generally work well, although taking armor for both quints and runes can tremendously help your last hitting, which is how you get her snowball started. Another option is AS quints/marks with AD filling the opposite slots based on your preference so she can get out more autos earlier and keep people slowed for longer, as well as more attack speed so you once again have an easier time last hitting, but that can make you burn through more mana than you want to with Q up so I wouldn't suggest it too heavily.

Max W then Q. Infinity Edge is your best friend.

If you want to pick someone off, it's R -> Auto attack -> W, and have Frost Shot turned on. The auto-crit from the passive gives you a lot of burst.

The biggest thing to remember with Ashe is to pick your engagements though. You can start a fight with R of course, but also realize that you're slow and have no mobility tools, so not getting caught is a big deal.

well, there are many things you can do to play effectively, mostly is orb-walking since her permaslow can be really REALLY powerful in dangerous situations.

Start with a point in E for maximum profit then W -> Q and then max W.

Remember that W doesn't resets your autoattack so try firing it in between attacks and not at the start of a fight.

An old trick is to hide in the bot lane brush on the enemy's side at the beginning of the game with your support. Ignore any cs that you might miss before your opponet gets to lane. If your support is able to land a hard cc skill, aa-w-aa and chase, you should be able to kill the adc. This is because your w plus your passive will equal about 300 damage in a second if you have ad runes and a longsword+pots. This cheesy strategy works best with Blitz.

Ashe's most powerful tool is her ultimate. She brings something that people aren't used to getting hit from by a carry: global engage. In fact, her and Gangplank are pretty much the only ones who can do it. So make sure you can land those arrows!

Use volley sparingly in lane. Ashe's mana regen and mana pool are quite terrible.

Volley's CD goes down dramatically as she levels it, so I strongly suggest you rank it first. It's also an excellent tool if the enemy team is starting to barrel towards you, to keep them away.

5% slow per level on Q might not seem like much, but it can make the difference between the enemy dying and getting away with a sliver of health. I suggest you rank it second, after W.

Your E might seem underwhelming compared to the Scrying Orb trinket, but it can be crucial in finding that squishy, out of position carry to fire your Enchanted Crystal Arrow at.

Mind your positioning. You're not Lucian or Ezreal who can back out of a sticky situation. If you have a choice between going the short way that might have enemies lurking, or the long but safe way, pick the latter.

Your stun is powerful, but you're not a duelist. Unless you're sure you can nail the enemy ADC with an arrow from close range, and you're at least a little ahead of them, it's usually better not to risk it.

A common scenario I see in high Gold is something like this: 12-20 minutes in, one side's botlane turret is dead. I clear bot, recall and buy, then walk down mid. Just before entering the enemy's vision range, I fire an ult arrow at the enemy mid-laner, who is usually busy autoing a minion. My mid-laner, my support (if they followed me), and I generally have no issue killing the enemy mid off of a 2.5s stun. If the enemy bot-lane is busy pushing out bot instead of coming up to defend their tower, we get mid turret and our vision (and subsequently the game) snowballs hard off of that.

ashe is item reliant. build ie, pd/shiv, bt, lw, you can now right click everyone to death.
