Should I Rank?

Hey everyone! I don't post on here often, but if you remember my previous post, its me Rachel! I started two months ago and I've really been enjoying the game with my bf! He's almost lvl 30 too and last week I finally hit 30 so I decided to do a few promos! Unfortunately......I'm 2-4 already and I'm not doing so well :( I asked a few friends before I played ranked and they told me to wait a little before I started but I was just so eager to get ranked!! >_<

so quick question Should I stop and leave my record as is? Or should I finish up and just rank up normally and get out of bronze? Of course my elo didn't fall much in the first few games since I started duo'ing with my gold friend so I was playing against gold players for my first 4 games. Then I dropped down and started playing solo to get 2 more wins and now I'm just not sure.... please help!! Wuv you all <3 -Rachel.

If you have enough champions you're comfortable on to play 4 of the 5 roles (maybe you could get away w/ 3 if they are less played roles?) and enough rune pages and t3 runes to make the pages you want for what you're going to play then go for it. Worst that can happen is you end up in bronze and have to work to get better and get out, or just chill and have fun in bronze. Personally I have 5 different rune pages on my main account with more rune combinations than I could fit on there (just for quints I have move speed, attack speed, flat ad, flat ap, life steal, and am working on adding flat cdr quints currently for one champ's particular page), and I love that flexibility bc there are some champs I like that I want really specific and very different rune pages. However, I have an account from playing with a friend as they leveled and it has the minimum 2 pages, 16 champs to play ranked, and one or two rune options on each rune slot. I want to get scaling HP yellows on it, so I have yellows for mid lane (right now only have flat armor), but other than that I can make due and use stuff like going ms quints instead of AD, and I don't mind playing ranked w/ one slot of runes I don't like (IE armor yellows in mid if I have to).

Wow that was more words than I meant it to be. Hope it helped.

I think you still have lots to learn, and I think normals games will help you out. According to your op.gg page, you've never purchased a ward ever on any champion, and you don't upgrade your trinket often enough.

You need to work on your mechanics in normals some before you venture out into ranked. You're probably a good player, but I'd get to know the game better first.

Stop ranked until you get placed with silver players in normals.
