The two reasons you lose games

  1. You die for free. Hm? You don't understand what I mean by this? It's when you start thinking you're a human ward and decide to walk into the enemy jungle without vision of anybody and die instantly by a gang of 5 players. It's when you think you can single-handedly take out that dragon with half health while it chunks down your health bar. All the while the opposing team lurks around the pit and your team bails. You don't have smite up... let alone an escape plan. It's when you, the carry(whether it be mid or top), decides to riskily farm out that wave while the coward tanks that are your teammates head for the nearest turret to watch your impending doom. It's when that teammate who saw something you did not pings you of danger but you decide to go check the vicinity in which the ping was placed. Next thing you know your health bar instantly drops to 0.

  2. You don't know how to play as a team. Be a team player. Examples: -You see your ADC pushing out a stacked wave while he simultaneously pings danger where he knows you oblivious fools will fight 4v5. Then you blame your adc for not being with the team. Patience summoners. Stall for your adc.

-You are split-pushing to take down those pesky inner turrets. It's a 3v5 at the mid-lane. Two players on your team are pushing out those baron-buffed minions. What you did wrong: Fighting 3v5. Surprisingly you lost that fight and now your split pushers are forced to defend the inhibitor helplessly awaiting you to spawn out of those 60+ second death timers. GG.

-You, as a tank, play way too far back. Which, of course, is definitely useful if you're doing so to protect and peel for your carries. But let's be real you're gonna unsuccessfully dive their team you vs. the world, and meanwhile they successfully dive your carries.

All of these give your opponents an advantage. To be more specific, a gold advantage. If you aren't already aware of the fact: Gold = items = power.

Don't face check that bush. Stop feeding. Be a team player. Be patient. Win games.

The most common mistakes i've been seeing for so long is this.

  1. Overstaying your beloved welcome: There is no reason to give the enemy team a chance to get their lead back by you guys staying for more kills or taking their blue buff. Base and reset that hard earned gold.

  2. Chasing 300g (or less) over dragon/baron/turrets: Mainly if you killed ADC MID and JG... just go baron or take objectives. Dont ever chase for extra gold. You will earn far more by farming those minions and those objectives.

Split pushing isn't that simple. You need lots of pertinent vision, as well as an escape plan and most importantly, kill pressure. The enemy team doesn't care if they lose their top inner when they can force a 5v3 engage mid by flashing onto your team. They get 3 kills and 2 mid towers while you steadily chunk that top inner. Then you yell at your team for being idiots and fighting 3v5 when in truth the enemy team recognised that you, the split pusher, had absolutely no pressure and they flashed onto your hapless team.

People don't lose games just because they die for free or because they don't play with the team well enough; it's because there's an incredibly low level of strategic competence in League of Legends solo queue, even at higher levels. Honestly, the only thing that separates LCS teams from the average player pool is that LCS teams spend a lot of time going over how to play the map strategically and approaching the game as if it were a war campaign.

I'd say a vast majority of players in solo queue, while they may be mechanically skilled or very competent on their champions, have very little idea of strategic macro play. Nobody knows where to ward, when to group, when to split, when to look for picks, when to force fights, when to siege, when to push, what to push, etc. People just see a fatass wave and run to it. People see 1 person wandering around and jump at them when the other 4 are MIA. People think they're strong, force a fight, then position poorly or pick a bad spot to do it and get their team aced.

Another big game-loser is lack of communication. The smart pings are great, and players who use them tend to benefit a lot. At the very least, they convey a lot of necessary information. But there's lots of stuff about which many solo queue players neglect to tell their teammates. They don't communicate when people's flashes or teleports are down, they don't communicate ultimate cooldowns or objective respawn timers. I've seen many games where the support KNEW that dragon was coming up in one minute, but didn't tell anyone and ran to ward it by themselves. They then facechecked the enemy team and died--as you say--for free. But that facecheck could have been a dragon fight if they had just told their team when dragon was coming up and that it needed to be set up.

tldr communicate and strategise to win

Well, I agree and also disagree. You lose games on the decisions you make 90% of the time. It is what seperates platinum players from diamond players.

1: i dont know how to carry

2:I'm too passive.

Bam. Bronze life.

Whenever I see a squishy get initiated on while a tank stands behind them, I wonder what that tank player is thinking. Part of your job as a tank is to be a barrier to the enemy, and you aint blocking shit standing behind your carries.

I hate it when the initiator goes in and every else just walks back to the turret and your left to die. I play a lot of zac and this happens all the time. It's a 5v5 my ult is up, and the enemy positioning is off for the one sec and that's enough time for me to fly in and fuck shit up.

people like you lose games because you dont understand everything to the game and take everything at face value, kind of why low elo players build the same thing everytime even when its incorrect. This game is about all of the little things combined make up a skilled player

Haha i hate when I'm split pushing and I say " GUYS DONT FIGHT, JUST DEFEND" and the moment i leave someone charges in and causes a chain reaction within the team to all go in and team fight. Usually ending with " WTF WHY ARENT U WITH US GG SURRENDER NOOB DIDNT EVEN GET THE TURRET" Me: But... I just came bot....
