Win Ratios

So I've been playing ranked since the beginning of the season. I got placed in bronze 5 because of a terrible last season. From what I've read you probably have to have above a 50% win ratio. I'm in bronze 3 right now with a 54% win ratio, but promos seem to keep me from climbing. My highest win ratio on one of my champions is 75%. Why am I still stuck in bronze 3? I've looked at silver 3 players, their win rate is 15% below mine but they don't seem to drop. When playing with higher ranked players, where I am the lowest ranked, I am able to carry the game and win my lane even if there is an enemy player that is a silver 4 and is playing there main. This has happened several times, and it's leading me to believe that the entire ranked system is bullshit. It seems to be based mostly on luck, and not actual skill. Help, I don't think I'm in the right ELO at all and it's starting to get really frustrating. I'm not the best player, but I'm tired of this broken system. I'm tired of seeing people who play worse than me (a lot worse apparently) but are at a higher rank. Honestly, I'm sick of reading "If you deserved to be at a higher ELO, you would be there." I was horrible last season, but have improved my win rate greatly but I'm just not moving anywhere.

Also I keep reading online that trolls and afkers are uncommon, but it seems like every time I get into promos I get either an afker, or a troll who decides to take a role that has already been claimed by the picks up above him. This troll then proceeds to feed the entire game and no matter how many towers you are able to take, you can't 1 v 5 their entire team if their fed beyond belief.

Honestly, you are close to the correct mindset, but you still have it wrong. You need to stop thinking "I'm better so I should be higher ranked," and instead begin thinking "I have improved in X area, but could still improve in Y area next."

Climbing the ladders is about constant self improvement. The process is a hike up a hill, not stairs.

Completely forget about rank, don't even look into the enemy on op.gg or whatever site one may use, it is clearly only making you tilt more.

It's pretty hard to measure your own improvement, or see your own mistakes. It's good to have someone watch your games, or your replays to see what you have done wrong.

The definition of luck: success or failure apparently brought by chance** rather than through one's own actions.**

TL;DR: Do not think you are being victimized, and the game is cruel to you. You are the master of your own destiny.

The Fact that you have onyl 54% Win Ration against bronze shows that you are in your ELO after all. But from what I can see if you keep playign this way you will eventually make it to silver, but don't expect to hit Gold as long as you won't improve your game. Also from what I can see on Freelo you often forget to put down your trinket, never forget about your Trinket, vision is one of the msot important thing if you want to climb the rank ladder.

On your recent MF games you like never build IE and never build an attack speed item. pretty much every single adc needs an attack speed item otherwise it's difficult to kite since you'll either not even be firing autos or canceling them too early while you move backwards. you rarely build IE on her either. IE and PD are like your two biggest power spikes as an ADC and you don't build either. you have a jinx game with BT, shiv and banshee. so you basically did no damage since you had barely any ad, barely any crit and no armour pen. you know, against a RAMMUS. your cs'ing is extremely bad (no, 97 cs in a 21 minute game that you won is not acceptable).

so I mean I haven't spectated your games or anything but these are super obvious, extremely easy to remedy mistakes where you just need to farm better and actually itemise properly rather than copy-pasting a build out of mobafire or whatever it is you're doing.

so no, it's nothing to do with the elo system being based on luck, the system isn't broken, and you're not a good player at all so you're where you belong. want to get out of bronze? play better.
